On Bridge Street, Black Widow using the energy rifle from before is taken off her feet by a Chitauri soldier.
She is slammed into the car and releases a pained grunt.
"Natasha!" Dani cries, moving to assist the woman but an alien soldier grabs onto her wrist - emitting a shrill shriek from the child.
No alienated member was able to touch her yet, and the fact that the ForceField had not come between the two meant that Dani was starting to wear out - the extended use of her powers made it difficult to protect herself. Signaling a blast, the creature is blown away, and Dani races towards the energy rifle that the redheaded assassin had dropped.
"Here!" the girl tosses the rifle up to Natasha, who catches it easily and - tiredly - cuts the throat open of the relentless Chitauri.
After the being is killed off, Dani places her hands on her knees - starting to wheeze.
Captain America jumps down to meet the two and holds his shield up in defense when Natasha aims the rifle at him, thinking he was another one of them.
