Warnings: This is a sequel to the fiction crossover "Monsters with Souls" featuring Naruto and Bleach. If you haven't read the first story please do so before reading this story picks up right where I left off. In no way shape or form do I own the series and/or its characters. This story however is an original idea that I have had for a while now and decided that it is time that I got around to writing it. Some of the characters may seem a bit OCC so please don't hate me for it as I am using my own attacks and/or attacks from other series for this story! Special thanks to Champion Alex and ultima-owner (from fanfiction.net) for helping me come up with the name and information about Sasuke's inner demon. You guys are the best.

Once Nnoritora had been taking care of. Grimmjow lead the group to the place where Orihime was being kept.

"I have to warn you about the one who took Orihime and is currently watching over her. His name is Ulquiorra Schiffer. He is ranked number four upon the Espada. He is emotionless and obeys Aizen's orders without question. He likes to strike and kill soul reapers in the same exact spot where his hole is." stated Grimmjow as he pointed to the center of his chest. This sent shivers up and down Ichigo's spine. "Ulquiorra is the most loyal of all the Espada to Aizen and perhaps the most dangerous."

"But why would Orihime's ability draw someone like Aizen?" asked Isshin.

"More importantly how is Aizen tied into the Akatsuki?" asked Naruto.

"Did you say the Akatsuki?" asked Grimmjow in shock.

"They are rogue ninja who are after the tailed beasts. Demons that are sealed within human hosts." Gaara stated. Grimmjow didn't seem surprised by this statement.

"Aizen needed the Hogyoku to create us and to control those with inner hollows. The Akatsuki got the item from another realm and in return they got scrolls on how to do a certain jutsu to rip demons from out of human hosts."

"Don't remind me. That Hogyoku nearly caused Ichigo to loose control of himself as it took a lot to break him out of it." growled Naruto.

"At least we now know how the Akatsuki ties into this whole thing. More importantly what they are after." Ichigo stated."It also explains why they came after me and why you two leapt to Suna to stop them. Hopefully I can return the favor." Gaara stated. Suddenly Ichigo could feel it in the pit of his stomach the need to go faster. He suddenly switched to bankai mode pouring on the speed.

"Ichigo wait up!" Naruto yelled out as he also switched to bankai mode.

*King are you sensing what I am sensing?* Shiro asked.

*Yeah..... Orihime's life is in danger.* replied Ichigo as he sliced through any hollows that got in his way. Standing near the tower pillar was a group of hollows that all looked the same.

"You must be Ichigo Kurosaki. We have been expecting you. I am Captain of the Exequias (execution squad), Rudobon. By orders of Lord Aizen, I am here to take your life." stated what looked to be the commander. Before Ichigo could reply or even strike an attack, he was swarmed by the Exequias. Suddenly sand arose striking at the Exequias.

"Thanks Gaara!" Ichigo cried out. Laughter rained out as Ichigo could see Renji swinging his sword wildly.

"Hey don't forget about us!" Renji stated. Ichigo smiled as everyone was there. Ninja, soul reaper, Espada, and human alike.

"Go Ichigo. We will handle this lot." snarled Komamura. Ichigo nodded his head as he took off.

*Wait for us Ichigo. We are coming too. I understand that this fight with Ulquiorra is personal. But allow us to protect Orihime.* Naruto stated mentally. Ichigo nodded his head grateful that his adoptive brother had his back. Both flash stepped to the point where Ichigo could feel Orihime's presence. Unleashing a Getsuga Tensho [moon fang heaven piercer], Ichigo broke into the pillar finding Ulquiorra standing in front of Orihime. Ulquiorra slightly turned meeting Ichigo's fierce gaze.

"Step away from Orihime."

"I intended to. My duty is only to guard Los Noches until Lord Aizen returns. I wasn't ordered to kill the girl. So for now I will let her live until ordered otherwise." Ulquiorra stated as he stepped off the side of Orihime. He didn't notice red chakra arms grabbing Orihime and pulling her out of harms way. "It seems that you are not alone." Ulquiorra stated as he noticed Naruto behind Ichigo. "I can not allow you both to live. If protecting Los Noches means killing you then, I will cut you down right now." Ulquiorra stated drawing his zanpakuto.

"I am a bit surprised. I didn't think you would draw your sword so easily. I thought that I would have to make you draw it. Does this mean that you recognize me as an equal?" asked Ichigo.

"It means that I recognize you someone who must be destroyed." replied Ulquiorra.

"That's fine by me. Naruto, I am trusting you to protect Orihime with your life. This fight belongs to me."

"No problem Ichigo. I got this covered."

Ichigo was the first to strike as he went to wound Ulquiorra. With one quick swipe Ulquiorra managed to dodge Ichigo's attack and cut Ichigo on the shoulder. The two rushed at each other causing sparks to fly and their swords to ring out. Ichigo's strength caused the ground to break. Ulquiorra tried to kick Ichigo in the head. Ichigo went to swipe at Ulquiorra as the fourth Espada jumped to avoid it.

*Keep your guard up King. Remember he isn't ranked number four without a reason.* Shiro hissed in the back of Ichigo's mind.

"Chidori Getsuga Tensho [thousand bird lightning moon fang heaven piercer]!" Ichigo snapped out swinging his zanpakuto laced with his jutsu and spiritual pressure together. Ulquiorra easily cut it like it was nothing. The two exchanged blow for blow as Ichigo managed to stop a blow aimed for his chest. This cause Ulquiorra to unleash a cero [doom blast] down the length of his sword.

"Ichigo!" Orihime cried out.

"Don't worry Orihime. Ichigo won't lose this fight." Naruto stated as the blast cleared showing Ichigo unharmed.

"So you were able to withstand my cero without putting on that mask of yours. Is it because you have defeated Grimmjow? Or is it for that girl? Or for your friends fighting below this tower? Or because you have gotten much stronger?" asked Ulquiorra.

"Does it matter? I will take Orihime and everyone back home. Naruto and I will stop the disturbance that is threatening the two realms." Ichigo answered. Ulquiorra seemed unfazed by Ichigo's answer.
