Chapter 12

Isabel's pov

The car came to a halt, a hand on my shoulder shook my body slightly. I found myself coming back into a state of consciousness.

"Izzy, wake up" they whispered, my eyes groggily opened and was met with intoxicating green eyes

"Hi Princess" she smiled

"Hi" I mumbled, maybe it was just the lack of consciousness

"We're here, come on" she chuckled and stepped away. I rubbed my eyes and glanced around the car to see it was empty.

I glanced back to Aurora and noticed I was pressed against her chest. I quickly pulled away from her body, feeling the warmth leave me.

"Where's everyone" I mumbled

"They're inside, they've been there for a while now"

"why are we in the car?" I asked

"I didn't want to disturb you" she whispered, her eyes locked with mine and I felt a blush creep onto my cheek

"That's creepy" I chuckled

"I think it's adorable" she said, Aurora smiled and slid out of the car, both her hands rested on the roof as she leaned down

"You coming?" she asked, I nodded and slipped out the car to join her

"Your baggage is already in the house" she mumbled

"Thank you" I said, my eyes scanned my new environment.

They landed on the cream mansion, it was modern, solar panels took the dark grey roof. A balcony stretched across the entire house, with a few at some windows.

My walked a little more on the long lawn, my eyes landed on the big pool in the backyard, it had a fountain spewing water, some pool lights lit up the pool and a few modern seats scattered around it.

"wow" I mumbled

"Nia's the best, she actually rented us this place. It took her just ten minutes to get everything in order" Aurora chuckled and pushed the backdoor open

I stepped into the house and was met by the smell of fresh fruit. The walls were grey and white, golden house lights made it pop more. A bar was situated right in the corner of the room, the multi coloured alcohol shined under the small lights. The bottom flat was an open floor so you could easily walk into each section of the house. The marbled kitchen counter had bags and bags of groceries. I guess that's where the fresh fruit scent was coming from.

"Do you play?" Aurora questioned as her fingers dragged along the black piano

"No" I mumbled

"Do you wanna see your room?" she questioned

"I have a room?"

"Yes, unlike you'd like to sleep with me" she smirked, I rolled my eyes but I knew a blush wanted to appear. The thought of us in the same bed was a little much for me

"Come along" she said and headed towards the mainstairs, it was fucking huge and had gold carpet trailing right up and into the rooms

Aurora unlocked the door furthest away from the others, my eyes first landed on my suitcase on the queen-sized bed covered in white sheets. The walls were painted dark grey, a few wooden shelves held ornaments. It was honestly nicer than my old room, it was just bare.

"I'll be downstairs when you're done. Unless you want me to stay" she smirked

"When did you get flirty?" I questioned
