"Lin Li Fang!"

Mingrui quickly walked back to you

"yeah?"

"Didn't you want to go get ice cream?"

"But after-"

"Let's go."

"Don't you have to practice for-"

"The trip is still a long time away"

"It's-"

"Let's go."

"Wait? What was it Xinlong?"

"Lin Li-"

"Just one minute. you didn't talk to me all day, give me one minute."

"I was just gonna ask if you can make me a sign...you don't have to, of course. You're probably making and buying all this stuff for Hanyu, but giving their son anything isn't even in the back of my parent's mind and my brother won't even be going so..."

"oh..."

"Aww, of course."

you put your hand on his arm and he smiles

"thank you~"

"Okay, done? Bye Senior He."

Mingrui grabs you and drags you out of school.

"Let go of me!"

you pull your wrist out of his grip

"What was that for?"

"You don't talk to any other boys anymore, okay?"

you smile

"Oh really? How about Zeyu and Shuyang?"

"They don't count. they classify as idiots."

"you jealous?"

"What?! No! Why would i be jealous. no one knows you're my girlfriend anyway."

"Okay, bye then."

you turn around and walk in the other direction.

"Wait."

you wave your hand

"Lin Li Fang"

he runs up to you, and you were expecting his to hold your hand or hug you from behind your something, but he put you in a chokehold and starts to walk with his arm secured around your neck

"Let go!"

"Want to tease me some more?"

"Fine Fine!"

he lets go

"My god...but...you were jealous."

"Shut up before I push you onto the street."

"You wouldn't do that, would you~?"

he crosses his arms and snickers

"Let's go get ice cream~ you're paying."

"Says who?"

"Says me, dumbass."

you start to skip ahead of him and he chuckles

"She really is a big baby."

he bought you ice cream and you guys sat at the park as you ate

"Thank you, GouGou~"

"yeah yeah"

you sat on the table and he sat in the seat in front of the table

"FangFang..."

"mhm?"

he was going to ask something but he saw ice cream on your face 

"What?"

he snickers and wipes the corner of your mouth with his thumb. You can feel your cheeks become hot 

"Th-Thanks....."

"Can I ask you a question?"

"What's up?"

"why don't you want people to know we're dating?"

"I already told you..."

"but I don't believe you."

Why?!"

"because that doesn't sound like you...to worry about what other people are saying about you? that isn't Lin Li Fang...is it because of Xinlong?"

"No! of course not!"

"is it me?..."

"GouGou, no"

"Then what?!"

"I'm scared! Okay?! You're...You're my first boyfriend...and yes, Mingrui, I do worry about what other people think of me...so there...is that the answer you wanted?"

you get up

"FangFang"

"I have to go meet Hanyu..."

"I didn't mean to-"

you were already walking away. You weren't really angry, but you were embarrassed.  You were supposed to help Hanyu study for exams again, so you met him at his house 

"Hey. Come in."

you went inside and went to his room. You started to help him study but you seemed out of it 

"You okay?"

"huh? um...yeah"

"You sure?"

"It's Mingrui..."

"What? Trouble in Paradise already?"

"Shut up..."

"But seriously, what happened?"

"I didn't want people at school knowing that we're dating...and I don't know if I got angry, frustrated, annoyed...I just embarrassed myself..."

"Why don't you want people knowing?"

"I don't know...there's that picture that was sent all over school...I just don't want people getting ideas in their heads"

"well, I'm going to give you a guys prospective on this. So yes, people are going to talk, but I have a feeling that Mingrui thinks that you're embarrassed of him."

"But I'm not!"

"You can say that, but he'll probably still think that"

"W-What do I do?"

"Don't be afraid to have your relationship be public. You'll never know how bad it is until you do it. Who knows, maybe you won't hear much of it. And plus, if people do say shit and stuff happens, you two have to go through it together."

"Shit...how are you so good at this? You should be a fucking therapist..."

he chuckles 

"Thanks...but in order to do that, I need to pass these exams"
