        Masarap sigurong maging maganda, yung ikaw palagi ang sentro ng attention. She was a beauty though, but there was this optimistic pessimist in her that eats up her confidence. Ika nga nya, matatalino lang ang nakakakita ng kagandahan nya at di iyon nakikita ng mga tao because humans are logically dumb and stupid. All her life she was treated as a nobody. Yung napapansin lang siya kapag may kailangan ang mga tao sa kanya. She will always be the second option at never siyang magiging priority ng ibang tao. Even her bestfriend does it, because they all assumed that she was a piece of hard rock that is too resilient for her own advantage but deep inside she was the weakest cotton drenched with unseen tears she kept for her whole lifetime.

        Five years after she graduated in her degree in Mechanical Engineering a lot changed and life is about to excite her. She is no longer plainly Dan Nathalie Isobell Madriaga but ENGINEER Dan Nathalie Isobell Madriaga . She was no longer someone’s underdog though the same unwanted treatment stayed. Naging chief engineer siya ng Maxwell Speed Camp, a cost effective dealer of cars, car racing equipment and gears. Not to mention that the company is creating noises in the industry and obviously booming in progress. Pabor sa kanya iyon dahil car racing has always been her genre and the job is giving her all kinds of emotions, especially because she planned in going back in the track.

Halos umaasa nga ang pamilya nya sa allowance na ibinibigay ng DOST sa kanya at sa sweldo nya bilang isang waitress ng isang café. Malaki naman ang sweldo ng papa nya ngunit hindi iyon magkakasaya sa laki ng utang nito dahil sa naloko ng isang marine agency ang kuya nya.

        She adjusted her eyeglasses to make a better look at her staff’s monitor. Kasalukuyan nyang idino-double check ang bago nitong disenyo ng kotse.

        “Come on Zeke, I’m pretty sure there’s a way we could get this efficiency closer to perfection. Few adjustments and add ups sa makina lang naman ang kailangan nito. And look at the speed, it could go further.” She clapped her hands to alert the rest of her personnel and hoisted from the office chair.

         “Come on guys, we need to get this deal or else the team will be dissolved. Aware naman siguro kayo na lumiliit ang approved proposals natin diba? We can do this guys and I am counting on you.”

        “Eh Miss naman kasi eh, dapat sineseduce mo si Sir Matt instead of befriending him.Para sa ganun ay madistract mo siya at ang buong team nya. And say hello to victory!” Coleen blurted na nagpapuno ng halakhak ng buong room. Totoo naman kasi, she never treated the opposing team as a competitor but merely co-workers. Ayaw na ayaw nya kasi ng competition because she wanted the best of everyone to come out in its own ways. Matt is one of the stockholders and at the same time ay chief engineer din ng kompanyang pinagtatrabahuan. It so happened na isa din ito sa mga batchmates nya nung nag-aaral pa siya kaya ganun na lang ito kalapit sa kanya.
