Gundham's POV —

The stain wasn't out... It was still there, the stain didn't even fade after putting on the spray.

"Maybe we should do it again!" Sonia insisted, handing me the bottle. And just like we did before, we sprayed it on the stained area, waited, this time a few minutes more than last time, and with a doubtful look on our faces, we wiped it away. Still there. Sonia fell into a panic, this stain stuck out since she kept her room so tidy. The stain brings attention to itself and would throw off the whole clean room aesthetic.

"It appears this cleaning spray is ineffective," I added, resting my fingers on my chin.

"No, no, this is not good!" Sonia squirmed, she snatched the bottle and read up and down the back of it. When she turned the bottle over, we saw the expiration date. It had expired 3 years ago.

"This makes sense now, the chemicals in cleaning items degrade after time, losing its cleansing abilities." I assured, that must be true for the rest of the stuff left in the restaurant's closet, it's been collecting dust all this time.

"Oh, yeah, it does, since we were in that program for so long," Sonia sighed, "Well, that is disappointing." She looked down frowning, there was a thick silence that invaded the room.

"Will you still be able to sleep with the stain?" I asked her, it pained me to see her in such sadness.

"I will, however, I'll probably have to wait until the area is dry again. And I don't really know how long that'll take." Sonia assured, all during this conversation, she's been keeping her distance from that stain.

"It appears so, that might take a while." I considered while staring at the wet cleaner filled stain. Sonia looks so defeated from this, her elegant swaying gown went into a stop. All from keeping the cage open. I mustn't give up, I will not allow her to go into a slumber which is stained with tea! But there is only one way I know which can truly work. "Sonia," I called for her, she looked up at me the second her name was said.

"Yes, Gundham?" Sonia asked, she looked a bit confused, not knowing what else we had left to speak of.

"Perhaps you'd deem the bed in my room more suitable?" I offered, everyone else has their own room, and seeing how I was asleep during this whole time, I never truly slept in it. However, it did belong to me, without a stained mattress.

"Y-your room...?" Sonia paused, "No, no, please this stain is alright!" She insisted while pushing some of her hair behind her ear, a mixture of red and pink filled her cheeks.

"Let's say this is a part of your demon training," I convinced, "Let us see if you are powerful enough to endure being in the Forbidden one's room!" Surely this would make her accept my offer.

"Oh! Then I must accept!" chirped Sonia, the stars in her eyes gleamed once again, filled with hope. I can't explain why, but seeing the excitement radiating from this shared interest always makes us connected.

"Fantastic! Let us-" I was cut off by Sonia.

"Wait!" Sonia halted, her eyebrows furrowed, "Where will you be sleeping then?" She asked.
