"Uh, yeah. What for?" I asked like it's no big deal when in fact it means a great deal to me.
"She's looking for you. Some weeks after you left," he risked a glance at me then focused his eyes on the road ahead. "I thought you ended things with her and she moved on?"
I let out a deep breath, "yes, dad. I am certain she has moved on. And she went to our house almost 2 years ago, right? I'm sure she's just checking me to prove that she really has moved on," I said more to myself than him.
Hindi na sumagot si Dad at tumango na lang na parang naintindihan niya.

Ilang minuto pa at nasa bahay na kami pero dahil gutom na ako ay nagyaya akong kumain muna. Ginising ko si Mom at pumasok na kami sa resto.
May nag-abot sa akin ng menu pero nang kukunin ko pa lang ay nabitawan ito ng nag-abot sa akin. Napatingin ako sa kanya dahil napasinghap din siya.
