Ishitha's POV-

"You sure about that?" Aarav chuckled.

I rolled my eyes at his attempt to crack a joke.

"Wasn't funny." I mumbled.

"Wasn't supposed to be funny." He shot back.

"Look, I'm 23. I don't need a babysitter. You do not have to take care of me or anything. Okay?" I stated, making my point clear.

He looked at me for a couple of seconds, before smiling.

"Okay."

I turned my attention to my phone again. After texting a few people and going through Instagram, I got bored.

Keeping my phone on my lap, I looked at Aarav for a couple of minutes.

"Staring is rude." He stated, looking up at me from his phone screen.

"I'm bored." I said, shrugging my shoulders.

"What do you want to do?" He asked, keeping his phone aside.

"I don't know. Tell me more about yourself." I said.

"What do you want to know about me?" He smirked.

"Anything. Tell me where you studied, about your family, girlfriend, your dreams, anything."

"Well, I completed my graduation in Mumbai and then flew down to Canada to complete my post graduation. About my family.. uhm.. what do you want to know about them?" He chuckled while asking the last sentence.

"About your parents, do you have a sibling and those stuffs." I said.

"What is this? A pre marriage interview?" He asked; laughing.

"Shut up." I chuckled.

"My dad's a hardworking man, my mum's a sweetheart, and yeah, I have an elder sister who's married." He smiled.

"Girlfriend?" I asked.

"You seem to be very interested." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes playfully before asking him to shut up.

"I don't have one." He answered.

What?

What what?

This good looking man does not have a girlfriend? What on earth!

"Nope, I don't." He chuckled.

I looked at him with a confused face.

"You might've said that aloud." He winked.

I facepalmed myself.

What an idiot, I am.

"Uhm.. ah.. what-what did you study back.. uhm.. then?" I struggled with words.

God, this is so embarrassing.

He chuckled while shaking his head, before answering.

"Hotel management."

"So you were interested in it since the very beginning?" I asked.

"Not really. I mean, back in fifth grade I wanted to become an astronaut, which later changed to wanting to become a doctor in sixth grade. In seventh I wanted to become an actor and an engineer in eighth grade. It was after my tenth grade that I knew what I exactly wanted." He said.

"Wow, too many career options there." I laughed.

"Tell me about it."

"What about you though?" He added.

"What about me?" I asked.

"Tell me about yourself."

"I don't tell stuffs about myself to strangers." I played, smiling a little.

"Ishitha Sahni, 23, recently graduated from RUHS College." He stated.

I looked at him with eyes and mouth wide open.

"How-how-"

"Maybe your dad tells stuffs about you to his close ones." He winked.

"Pretty sure that's the only thing he would've told." I stated.

"Placed at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai." He said.

"You sure you're not a stalker?" I asked him.

"No." He said; laughing.

"Seems like my dad told you everything about me, what else do you want to know?" I asked him.

"He told me things about you from his point of view, I want to know from your point of view." He smiled.

I kept on looking at him as I didn't know what to say.

"Tell me about yourself." He said, again.

"What else do you want to know?" I questioned.

"What have you studied?"

"Psychiatry." I stated.

"Oooo. So we have a psychiatrist here, that's cool. What about masters?" He asked.

"Maybe after a year or two." I shrugged.

"Were you always interested in psychiatry?" He asked.

"Well, no." I chuckled.

"I wanted to be a pilot first, which later changed to an architect, and then I wanted to become an air hostess, but then I settled on being a doctor." I told him.

"You'd be a really hot air hostess though." He flirted.

"I thought you were told to babysit me?"

"I thought you didn't want a babysitter?" He shot back, again.

The boy knew he had won.

"Any boyfriend?" He asked.

"You seem to be very interested." I said, using his line on him.

But unlike me, Aarav didn't ask me to shut up, instead he said, "What if I am?"

He shot back yet again.

Seeing me roll my eyes, he smirked.

He knew he had won. Again.
