NATALIE POV
March 1st
I groggily sit up from my bed immediately feeling a bit warm.
The first few days of March were always sunnier but then we get some bipolar weather in between.
Monday.
Another damn week of school and another week of reaching square 1 with the mission.
I go take a shower and head into my walk-in closet to pick a fit, where I choose a yellow lace long sleeve tucked into mom jeans with a belt.

"Morning Grace", I greet when I walk downstairs.
She was also in a thin long sleeve with jeans.
"You look nice, and it's only 6:50 am."
She laughs. "I know, I'm usually in sweats at this time. Matthew is coming to pick me up. He's showing me around his workplace."
I smile.
She and Matthew have been hitting it hard these past few months and the glow on her face is hard to ignore.
"Natalie, question?"
"Yeah?", I say helping myself to food.
"Lucas okay? He doesn't stop by when he drops you anymore."
I gulp down my reaction at the sound of his name. "He's fine. We are all busy because of Boss still in the hospital. The agency is getting to be a lot of work."
She sits down on the barstool in front of me and I smell her signature perfume.

"Is it really hectic at BlackLight?"
"It is, but the agents have been doing really well. We got some of the footage back two days ago and Sam was communicating with them through a burner software that deletes messages afterward."
She widens her eyes. "Wow."
"I know. "
"He should at least stop by and say hi to me, though." Grace's voice sounded hurt which takes a tug at my chest.
She was fond of Lucas, as was I.
"I'll ask him today, okay?"
She smiles sweetly. "Kay. Alright Mark is here have a good day. Mwah."

School
Lunchtime
We sat at the round table, all of us getting our lunch at the same time.
Jayden and I got our own lunches so we started talking about the mission.
"So Joshua said they are all in China?", I ask as Jayden quietly fills me in.
"Yeah, they must have flown 3 days ago. He said we should fly some people over there pretty soon."
He tells me about the meeting with Joshua a week ago, but Lucas didn't tell me everything.
"Lucas didn't tell me this", I say to him, brows furrowing.
