𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞

The core five and the brothers got to the Isle getting the kids they chose as many of the VKs stood around in excitement seeing the kids off.

"You have everything with you?" Scar asked his daughter as Vanessa stood beside her while the others were with their kids. "Clothes, threading needle and leather jacket check." Scarlett nodded with a small smile not being able to hold in her excitement.

". . . . well then off with you to your new home." Scar crossed his arms as he tried to hide his emotions since well he didn't want to admit that his daughter leaving did pain him but it was the best for her. "Will do dad. I'll miss you." Scarlett smiled knowing her father very well before she headed in the limo.

"She'll be fine." Vanessa assured Scar clearly noticing his act. "Why should I care? It's her decision." Scar questioned her but she sent him a knowing look. "As long as she's happy and safe." He nodded to her before walking away.

"Ready to go?" Nick walked up to her with a small smile as he gestured the limo. "Absolutely. New era has just started and I'm not about to miss it." Vanessa grinned as she took hold of his hand before they entered the limo with their friends and siblings.

"So, as soon as we get to Auradon, you have to try ice cream." Evie smiled as she was talking to Dizzy. "And go swimming?" Dizzy grinned at the thought of being able to go. "I can take you to the Enchanted Lake." Evie nodded as she thought of the perfect place to go causing Dizzy to squeal of excitement.

"I can't believe I get to live with you in your very own castle." Dizzy beamed as she'd finally get to live in a castle with her favorite person. "It's just a little starter castle." Evie waved off as it was nothing but she was happy she had it either way.

"Great grip. You play sports?" Jay asked Squirmy, who had a tight grip on Jay's arm, as he saw his nervousness. "Here. Go on. Trust me on this." Carlos handed Squeaky a huge Reese's and as he ate it a large grin appeared on his face. "I know. Dig in, dig in." Carlos smiled as he patted Squeaky's shoulders.

Celia had fanned out her cards as she gestured Ben to take one which she did before handing it back to her.

"You're going to be a wise and brave king." Celia read his card as she sent him an approving nod. "He already is." Mal smiled as she put her hand on her fiance's arm.

"See? The cards never lie." Celia gestured her card before she held out her hand waiting for her payment which she received.

"Ah, I can't wait to get to Auradon." Scarlett grinned as she always dreamed of going to Auradon. "And you'll be staying with me. My mom and step dad gifted me a house outside of the school." Vanessa smiled at her as she held Nick's hand.

"Do you have a sew machine over there?" Scarlett asked with so much hope.

"Scarlett, it's me. Of course I do, I even have a room just for that. And I may or may not have a fridge filled with candy and sweets in there." Vanessa assured her before she whispered to her as she and Scarlett both have a sweet tooth.

"Yay!" Scarlett clapped as she hugged Vanessa with excitement.

As they got to the entrance of the Isle Jay had opened the barrier as they other VKs looked at it in happiness.

Jay started to drive off as the barrier closed up but as Evie turned to look back she saw a certain someone running to the barrier before it closed.

"It's Hades. Stop the car. He's trying to escape." Evie told her friends who immediately turned to the blue haired god.

"Oh, no. You guys stay here." Vanessa mumbled before telling the kids as the core five and the brothers got out of the limo.

"I am a god! I don't belong here." Hades hair lit up as he let out of anger while the boys tried to push him back Hades zapped the boys causing the girls to gasp. "No!" Vanessa let out as she tried to help the boys up but Mal held her back.

Mal's eyes started to glow green as she looked toward their father with anger while Vanessa tried to hold in her temper but it was getting quite difficult. 

Purple smoke appeared around Mal before she turned into a dragon again. Vanessa's eyes had begun to glow gold as not only did her hair begin to glow blue but her entire body glowed blue in anger.

Everyone turned to the girls but as Hades never saw this happen to them he couldn't help but stare at his daughters in shock. 

Mal had turned into a dragon just like her mother could while Vanessa had been transformed and this made him realize the strength they had.

Hades grabbed his ember and pointed it to dragon Mal draining her as Vanessa jumped on the limo running to Mal.

"Come on, Mal, blast him." Jay called out to the purple dragon who tried to but it was getting difficult so Vanessa took her head start running before she jumped up in front of Mal where the ember was draining her.

"Careful, Vee!" Carlos called out to his best friend not knowing if she could hold it.

Seeing that her sister was almost out of energy Vanessa made sure to help her. 

Vanessa moved her hands in front of her where the ember zapped to her. She held the zap while her hands glowed gold she pushed back causing the force to push Hades back sealing the barrier back up.

"Are you okay?" Evie asked Carlos as she helped him up while Jay got himself up as he helped the Kings.

Mal growled as she lowered down causing Vanessa to lower herself as she was below her sister. Purple smoke covered them as Mal turned back but unfortunately Vanessa had very little energy in her so she kind of fell back. Luckily she grabbed on to the ledge before she could fall in the sea.

Evie and Ben helped Mal down the limo as Nick and Jay went to Vanessa helping her up. They all met up in front of the barrier as Ben, Evie, Nick, and Jay held the girls up. 

Mal and Vanessa looked towards their father who looked back at them. They shared a look that no one really understood but the three did.

"Are you guys okay?" Evie asked the two seeing the effect they had received. "No." They shook their heads as Mal held her stomach while Vanessa held a grip on the boys as she tried not to fall back. "He was draining all of my power with the ember, and I felt all of my powers slipping away." Mal explained as she tried to breathe.

"That zap pushed back too much. . . it was like it mixed with my magic and powers." Vanessa panted as she felt the ember not draining her but more like sending shock waves in her body.

"You guys are safe. He's back where he belongs." Evie assured her best friends as they looked back at Hades before he walked away with people running away from him. "Let's go." Vanessa shook her head with disappointment of her and Mal's father's actions before she went into the limo.

Her friends and fiance shared a look with one another knowing she must have felt something since Hades was her father this must have affected her someway. 

Mal knew how this felt but she couldn't tell anyone so she just followed her sister's actions before everyone got back in the limo.

Jay started the limo once again before driving off while Ben and Nick tried to comfort their fiances seeing their tiredness but of course the girls were too drained to do anything.
