~ yes they are all in college, if not college age.
~ no this doesn't really follow up with the manga
~ Yes they do play volleyball, no I haven't figured out how and who is in which team in college, so I'll just leave it for your imagination.
~ while those that are in college still play volleyball, we'll call this their down season, so the clubs aren't as active atm or something.
~ they live in a city-ish setting.
