The smell of food woke me up.

I slowly opened my eyes and there was my breakfast.

"Morning," Derek grinned.

"Hey," I smiled.

I covered my bare chest with the covers as Derek placed the food in my lap.

He joined me in bed and we dug in.

We did more eating than talking.

"Are you working today?" he asked me.

"Yeah, but for only two hours," I said kissing him.

"When?"

"Three to five,"

"Okay," he sighed.

"Hey, happy faces,"

"I want my wife," he said.

"I know, we have all of tomorrow,"

"No, I have work at five then our family dinner with the Johnson's,"

I sighed. "Then happy hour with the guys,"

"No time," he said.

"We could squeeze it all in," I said grinning.

"I want to savor the moment," he whined.

I laughed as I pushed our tray away and pulled down his boxers.

Derek grinned and rolled us over.

To say that Kate was mad was an understatement.

She was pissed.

I slept on the sofa until ten, when she woke me up.

"What?" I muttered half awake and half asleep.

Kate was tearing up a little and she hugged me.

Oh dear God, I thought.

"I'm so sorry," she cried.

"Why are you sorry?" I asked.

"I said all those mean and hateful things to you. I didn't mean them,"

I pulled Kate off of me. "Yes you did. I don't love you, Kate. I love Alexandra Oz,"

Derek and I went for a short little jog around the park then took a long shower together.

Afterwards we went out to lunch and saw a movie together.

Afterwards he drove me to work and stayed.

I had meetings so he painted and put them on display.

After I was done I did some late minute paper work and we left.

Derek and I hung out in the basement. We were working on another painting.

Hours passed and it was time for the play and for me to finally meet Lydia.

I still have writers block. I have to figure out that I want to happen.
