I listen to our playlist more than I should
I sing along to your songs
Let them take over me like you
Do
I escape to the memories they bring
The lyrics become the words you once said to me
I remember them as vividly as my dreams with you
These songs on repeat
Remind me of the loops we keep breathing into reality
Close your eyes and be guided to where you need to be
Look at it, our finality
I know this distance is a mask
Open your eyes my darling, I have to ask
I've learned my lessons, have you?
I hope you remember little dreamer
True love always comes through
