I returned to Hana's apartment feeling like a huge weight had just been lifted off of my shoulders. I finally felt light and free.
Jisung and I had both agreed that we needed to take things slow. After all, we only knew each other for a little over a month. I still found it crazy that I could fall in love with a complete stranger in that amount of time.
Yes, fall in love. After not seeing him for two weeks, I knew that the feelings I had towards him were much stronger and deeper than attraction. My heart ached everyday just to be in his embrace, hear his kind words, and just fall asleep next to him. I knew I was willing to make it work out in the end simply because of the person Jisung was. He made me feel like I could accomplish anything and the way he cared for me gave me butterflies every single time.
Despite all of these feelings, I agreed on taking it easy. While I would eventually move back into our apartment again, we realized that it was good to spend some alone time too. It somehow made the moments we did spend together even more special.
"And?" Hana asked as I closed the door behind me. "How'd it go?"
"It went really well," I sighed, unable to keep a smile from forming on my lips. "It's still going to take some time for things to 'go back to normal', but we're both willing to make it work."
"Ah I'm so happy for you guys!" Hana squealed, bringing me in for a hug. "I knew it would all work out in the end!"
"I'm hearing that things went well?" Felix asked, emerging from his room. "I'm so glad it did, Ara."
"Thanks guys," I chuckled, breaking away from the hug. "I'll still stay here for a couple more days, until everything's worked out. Is that okay?"
"Of course!" Hana and Felix replied at the same time.
