From Miss to Mrs

Chapter 27

"I want to get this Dante De Luca issue over as soon as possible." He said and I nod. 

"I want to live a peaceful life with you." He continued as he walked towards me on the bed. 

He held my hands in his. 

"I do too Enzo." I said with a smile. 

Lorenzo's phone rang and whilst he was on his phone I decided to think about what he said to me. He makes me happy. 

Lorenzo makes me feel emotions I have never felt before. My family have always loved me and taken care of me. But this feeling is different. It feels like I have everything I could ever ask for in the world. My life feels complete. 

Lorenzo enters again "We have De Luca." He said.

Time skip 

We drive to where Lorenzo's men are keeping Dante, we reach this house and go into a basement. 

Once we enter we see Dante on the chair tied up beaten. 

"If it isn't Dante De Luca." Lorenzo said as we see him. 

Dante looks up at us not angry at all. He doesn't even seem surprised to see us. Something felt wrong. I mean how could they get him so easily. 

"Enzo-" I started speaking but before I could finish guns started to go off between our men. 

Dante had spies in our guards. 

Lorenzo quickly ushers me to a corner while he shoots the others. 

I shout Lorenzo's name when I see Dante get a knife to stab his upper back, but I was too late. Lorenzo still fought Dante as if he never got stabbed. 

All the men started fighting each other but his men weren't as strong as Lorenzo's, since Dante's guards were taken by the mafia. He had a few 'loyal' ones left. 

Lorenzo and Dante were still fighting whilst Dante's guards were no more. 

Lorenzo punched Dante making him stumble back so the guards tied him up again. I ran towards Lorenzo checking his wound. 

"Let's get it patched up" I said but he wouldn't move. He walks towards Dante and starts punching him. I try to stop him but he won't listen. 

Once Dante was unconscious and I managed to drag Lorenzo out to fix his wound. 

I decided not to say anything just quietly dressed his wound since he seemed angry. He got up and thanked me once I bandaged it. 

"What do you want to do with him?" Lorenzo asked me. 

"I just want him dead. I don't need him to get tortured." I replied.

"Why not?" He questioned. 

"Because he shot my dad dead, not tortured him. So I want him shot in the head." I stated and Lorenzo hugged me. 

"You really are an angel." He said making me laugh. 

"I think I have too many nicknames now." I said smiling at him. 

We were told Dante woke up so we went into the room. 

"No more games De Luca." Lorenzo said. "Just die." He said and he passed me the gun after loading it. 

I pointed the gun to his head.

"What are you doing? You can't kill me?" De Luca says

"You shouldn't have killed my dad." I replied and he suddenly realised what this was about.

"No, please forgive me!" He starts pleading.

But I ignore his pleads. 

I never did think I would kill someone, but I thought of my dad, so I didn't waste more time and shot him in the head.
