Honestly, I thought this was going to be just another Netflix series with over-exaggerated acting which I would stop watching after a few episodes but it surprised me in a very good way. One of the things I love was how accurately it was able to portray Indian family dynamics and situations. In fact, the relationship between Devi and her mother became so similar to mine with my mom that I got scared for a moment.

I also loved the fact that the show focuses on more than Fabiola's relationship. I mean she's a queer girl experiencing new relationships but she's just a dorky girl who loves Robotics. Out of all her girlfriends, Aneesa was, without doubt, my favorite and I was hoping they would be the end game and was a little disappointed they didn't.  (might be because I had a crush on her but also because she's the coolest character in the show for me)

Now, this series definitely showed the right way to Character Development and almost everyone got one but right after Devi, Paxton got the best character development, I am guilty of thinking he was gonna be just another himbo with no brains but I was TOTALLY wrong and he became one of the best characters.

Fabiola's relationship is not the focus of the last season and that would have been totally okay, like I am totally with the show for exploring her character outside of being queer. But what made me angry is they needlessly destroyed her relationship with Aneesa, a character we knew and loved for no reason and then she ended up with a random girl she met in a party who we barely see for two seconds.
