"The bidding starts from 10 000$", the host tells us.

Not to my surprise, many people started shouting their price and to be honest, the amount that the offer for that painting can make me survive for months.

"15 000$", a lady speaks.

"50 000$", a gentleman in black suit replied.

"One million dollar", Noah Anderson speaks and once again, people went quiet.

"Five million dollar", Nathan speaks and someone gasped out loud. And that someone might be me.

"Nathan, what are you doing ?", I ask him and he shrugged.

"You told me that you wanted it", He tells me and I shake my head and about to protest but Noah offers an even greater price.

"Ten million dollar", he speaks as he looks at our direction, with a smirk on his face.

"Twenty million dollar", Nathan stands up from his seat as well as Noah.

"Fifty million dollar", Noah speaks with a bored tone, like that money is not even expensive.

"A hundred million dollar", Nathan speaks and everyone in the room went quiet, including the host and Noah, but Noah still has that arrogant smirk on his face.

"Two hundred million dollars", Noah speaks as he puts his hand into his pocket.

Nathan opens his mouth, wanting to offers another price but I pulled him down before he can shout out a word.

"Nathan, stop it. That is too expensive", I tell him and he shakes his head.

"But you wanted it and me-", Nathan starts talking but I cut him off.

"It's pretty, okay? And yes, I would be happy to have that painting in my room but if you donate that money to some charity or foundation, I think I will be so much happier", I tell him and he shuts up. He nods at me and looks back to Noah. Nathan leans back in his seat and I let out a breath.

I will kill Nathan for sure if he actually thinks of buying that painting with that high of a price tag.

"Two hundred million dollar going once. Two hundred million dollars going twice. Two hundred million dollars going thrice. Sold. The last and final product went to the men in a grey suit. In fact, all of the products that presented today was sold to him. We thanked you and everyone else for participating."

I can already feel the gaze and the smirk that is on Noah's face upon Nathan and I but shrugged it off. He seems to be enjoying the fact that he gets some painting that I wanted very much. His smirk already shows it all, he's clearly happy like he has won something.
