Elsy's pov

"It is 2 in the morning Oscar." I groan as he walked inside.

"Can i stay the night?"

"Well i guess so." I shrug since he already made himself comfy on my couch.

"Thanks." He sighed of relief.

"Whats wrong with your house?"

"Eva and i kinda broke up."

"How do you kinda break up?" I yawn as i lean on the couch pillows.

"Welllll i broke up with her. But we are probably still together in her head. She wouldn't leave." He shrugged.

"Why did you break up with her?" I honestly thought Oscar was still in that phase where he thought Eva was the one.

"She wanted to get married. She was forcing it on me. And i don't wanna. It has to come natural." He let out a sigh.

"Understandable." I walk over to the closet in the hallway.

"Here is a blanket."

"Thank you Elsy." He smiled.

"Mhm." I grin as i turn the lights off.

Next day

"Papa!" Juliette smiled as we walked to the kitchen.

"Yes. Thats papa." I smile as i watch Oscar deep sleep.

"What should we make papa to eat?" I whisper so we wouldn't wake him.

"Pancakes."

This little girl loved her pancakes. Which i'm not surprised about since i always craved them when i was pregnant.

I set Juliette on the counter and helped her stir the pancake mix.

"You keep mixing and i'll heat up the pan. Okay?" I kiss her forehead watching as she was so concentrated at her task.

"Okay." She mumbled as she stirred it with her best ability.

"Ooo smells good." Oscar popped up out of nowhere causing me to jump.

"Papa!" Juliette squealed as Oscar went over to kiss her cheek.

"Hi baby." He smiled as he watched over her. "What are you making?"

"Pancakes." She responded as she handed him the rubbed spatula.

"Im tired." She dramatized her exhaustion with a forehead wipe.

"Oh okay." Oscar chuckled as he mixed for her.

"Did we wake you?" I question Oscar as he shook his head.

"I smelled something."

I nodded my head as i sprayed the pan.

Then i poured some of the batter onto the pan and waited patiently.

"So whats the plan for the day?" He questioned.

"Well i was planning on taking Juliette to the park."

"Ooh lets take her to the one in Brentwood. That one is safer."

"Okay sure." I nodded.

Brentwood Park

We sat on a blanket in the grass and watched over Juliette who was playing with some white kiddos her age.

"Can i ask you something?" I questioned.

"Sure." He glanced over at me.

"Did you really go to therapy because of me?" I cleared my throat awkwardly.

"Yeah...." he sighed.

"Oh." I sat there silently.

"It wasn't your fault i went." He looked back at me. "I wanted to blame you. When you left i was angry. I thought i was angry at you... but i was angry at myself because i caused you to leave."

"I would never have left if i knew Amanda set it up." I pouted.

"I know..." he nodded. "But my therapist told me to not dwell on the past. You leaving happened for a reason." He shrugged.

"Do you still see your therapist?"

"No. We stopped our sessions since i was doing good. But shit if Eva goes psycho because i dumped her i might have to go back." He laughed.

I wanted to ask more about our past. But i knew it probably wasn't a good idea to bring it all back.
