Ch. 3 "Tasha"

                                          Jax POV 

"I said put them down," she said sternly, 

"Make me," I said darkly 

"Look I get it, you have to make a living, but your just a kid, so put them down and we can talk," She said 

"You were no older than me were you..... Tasha," I said Emphasizing it, 

Let's just say I wanted to see the look on her face, since I was the only one who ever called her that, ever, 

Her eyes got wide, 

"Jax?" She said stunned 

I pulled my hood down, 

"I'm surprised you remember me at all, given you practically ditched me," I said darkly 

"You know that's not what happened," She said 

"Right, right, look out for number one, always did, always will right," I said 

"It's not like that," She said 

I just rolled my eyes, 

I swear even though the wind was whistling you could hear a pin drop, 

"Why are you doing this?" She finally asked, 

Did she really just ask that? I thought 

So before we get ahead of ourselves here, Sure yeah, I do take contracts and kill people who deserve it, 

But I'm also searching, searching for the truth, I can't recall what my life was like before the red room, I can't remember my parents, my life, nothing, 

So that's what I am also doing, I've been trying to find a single trace at what happened, 

"You wouldn't understand, and I don't trust you, not anymore," I said 

"I-" Before She could finish I hear footsteps pulling my hood back up, 

"Don't look for me," I said 

With that I jumped on the fire escape and made myself vanish, 

                                  Nat POV 

I couldn't believe it, Jax, 

"Nat! what happened?" Clint said running to me, 

"I... I know who's doing this," I said with a broken voice, 

I can understand her anger towards me, we were close in the red room, 

Hell she was so small, and scared, she was just a kid, four when she arrived, 

I kept her safe, guided her, helped her, then I escaped, left never looked back, 

We were all in the main room of the tower, 

I brought up the holoscreen 

"Her name is Jaxon Hale," I said bringing up her profile, 

"She arrived in the red room at age four," I said 

Everyone looked concerned, 

"Thirteen, whoa, look at that skill list," Tony said 

I nodded, 

"I know, she's deadly and fast," I said 

"Seems like you know that personally," Fury said 

"Yeah, I know... because I trained with her," I said 

All their eyes almost popped out of their head, 

"Okay, so we've got a highly trained, assassin running the streets, just cutting people down, like a freaking samurai from Japan?" Tony said 

Everyone glared at him, 

"Her skill exceeds far more than Katana's" I said 

"We see that," Bucky said looking at the long list, 

"I don't care I want her brought in," Fury said 

"So we just need to follow her contracts," Clint said 

"I don't think it's that simple," I said 

"What do you mean?" Steve asked, 

"I think she's looking for something," I said 

The map was now up on the Hologram, 

"Look," I said 

They see all the red dots, 

It was in a small circle around Brooklyn, 

"The question is what?" Sam said 

                                   Jax POV 

I was on top of a water tower, my hood was down, hanging on the back of my neck, as the wind blew my dark hair in one direction, ruffling my clothes, 

I will find out, No matter what it takes, no matter the cost, I thought as I looked up at the stars,
