Today's my first day as a college student. there's nothing special about this day, its just a normal day for me.
im ready to go to school when my mother called me
"colette" she coldly call me
i blankly starred at her
"yes mother?" I answer on the same energy as her
"Don't go home today" she said and then walk passed through me
She's not waiting for me to answer cause it's not some kind of statement where you can go against it.
I'll definitely sleep somewhere tonight
It's always been like that whenever she ask me not to go home it only means that she have a visitor that she don't want me to meet
The school is not so far away from home so it took me only almost ten minutes to arrive
"Excuse me can i ask you something?" Tanong ko sa guard pag kababa ko ng sasakyan
He smile at me
"Can you give me the direction of the dean's office?" Tanong ko
"Ah dean's office ba maam? Bago ka ba maam? "
"Yes"
"Ah ganon ba teka lang may kalayuan kase ang dean's office...teka at hahanapan kita ng....mc!" Sigaw nito at kumaway
Tumalikod ako para tingnan ang kinakawayan nito
"oh kuya gardo anong saten?" Sabi ng lalaki habang hiningal
"Nagmamadali kaba? Samahan mo naman tong si maam sa dean's office, bago" sabi ng guard habang tinatapik ang balikat ng lalaki
He faced me and examine me
I just starred at him blankly while waiting for him to answer
He's tall, masculine, pale skin, pointed nose, he also have a bronze eyes and i think he's a long haired guy.
"Hindi naman kuya gardo, sige samahan ko" he answered after so long of examine me
He walk passed me so i just walk behind and followed him
After a while we finally reached the dean's office
Tumigil sya sa tapat ng dean's office at tumitig sa akin ng walang sinasabi
Tinangohan ko lang sya at pumasok sa loob
"Oh miss lacsamana good morning" bati sa akin ng dean
I sat on the chair and just nod
"Your grandmother already inform me about you, so if need something, just come to me and i will take care of it" nakangiti nitong sabi
"Thanks, im going to my class now" sabi ko at tumayo
The dean also stand up
"Wait miss lacsamana, Rachel" tawag nito
"Yes sir" a woman in her late 20's walk to the door and hold the door knob
Lumingon ako sa dean and he smiled at me
"Miss Rachel here will assist you to your class, you can ask for her if you need anything" nakangiting sabi ng dean
I nodded and just walk
After five minutes we finally reach my class
Tumingin ako kay miss rachel for her to know that i can manage
May inabot ito sa aking card bago umalis
The moment i enter the classroom i clearly hear the sound of the students, their too loud. Which annoy's me. I hate loud noises
I look around to find a sit
I sit on the last chair where i don't need to stand up for others to be able to sit
The class passed with just greeting our professor and introduce our selves
It's launch time and im eating alone in a table when someone sit on the other side of the table
I look up and see that its the man who help me reach the dean's office
"Hindi kaba tinuruan ng parents mo na mag thank you pag may tumulong sayo?" Seryosong tanong nito
I didn't move a muscle and just starred at him
"Thanks" walang emosyon kong sabi at pinagpatuloy ang pag kain
"Spoiled brat" dinig kong sabi nya na nakapagpaangat sa aking ulo
Tinitigan ko sya at pinagkunutan ng noo
It's my first time to hear that kind of insult, actually its my first time to hear someone insult me
Hindi ko na sya pinansin at nagpatuloy nalang sa pagkain
"Gano ba kahirap ang mag thank you? Napakadali naman kaya" pakinig kong parinig nya
"I already say thank you and that's enough" i coldly reply to him,kinuha na ang aking mga gamit at naglakad na paalis
"Sungit!" Sigaw nito na hindi ko pinansin
I already say thank you what more does he want? Oh maybe he need money
Nangma realize ay naglakad ako pabalik sa kanya
When he saw me walking to him he have this smirk on his lips
I open my wallet and pull 2 thousand pesos and put it on the table
"Thanks" sabi ko bago tumalikod
Nang akmang maglalakad na ako ay may biglang humila sa aking braso
"Are you insulting me? Im asking for your gratitude not your money" malamig nitong sabi bago ibigay sa akin ang pera at lumakad paalis
I don't understand him if he's not up to money what more does he want? I already say thank but still he doesn't accept it?
