The children and Penelope decided to visit the palace gardens as it was warm outside to play

" kids let's go back inside" Penelope said getting up, they were about to walk away only to get stopped by Jeannette and her fiancé ijiekiel

" greetings princess Jeannette and lord ijiekiel, congratulations on your engagement" Penelope said she hid her niece and nephew behind not trusting the princess in front of them, her sister told her what kind of person Jeannette is and she doesn't want her niece and nephew around her

" greetings princess Penelope, call me sister Jettie a sister of athanasia is a sister of mine" Jeanette said, Penelope only smiled

" well we should leave" she said walking away only to get stopped again

" please stay I would love to bond with you and my niece and nephew" Jeannette said, staring at the two children who ignored her, she wants to know the story between Penelope and her sister there's no way athanasia will just pick a random stranger as her sister and cut contact with her real family

" oh no we shouldn't-"

" Penelope, Jeannette" someone called out they turned around and it was athanasia walking with Claude beside her, Penelope's nose scrunched in confusion, her sister would rather kill herself than be near the emperor

" sister" they both said the kids ran to their mom

" mommy" they said hugging her leg which caused her to stumble a bit, athanasia chuckled seeing her cute children, she pat their heads, her daughter then pointed at Jeanette

" mommy that woman is a chi-"

" ah ah ah, don't say that" she stopped her daughter from revealing Jeanettes true form, it is not her business to expose Jeanette, when Obelia burns it is their responsibility and fault, not hers

" oh good you all are here, let's have tea" Claude suggested, the tea arrive and everyone sat awkwardness filled the air with Jeannette leading the conversation

" i have to say sister you caused quite the commotion" Jeannette said

" well yes it was almost a decade since my disappearance it is only fair that it does" athanasia said taking a sip of her ginger tea, ginger tea is known to help with pregnancy

" and congratulations on your pregnancy, maybe when ijiekiel and I have our child they could bond together" athanasia only hummed in response, as if she'll ever let her children be close to Jeanette's, she rather fling herself out of lucas's tower than let her children be near them, she also wondered if Jeanette could even get pregnant seeing that she's made of black magic but then again, miracles happen

" so how did you and Penelope met" she asked

" sister and I met when she was walking around my old family's garden and ever since then we befriended eachother, then she later adopted me"Penelope answered, she smiled taking her sisters hand

" someone had to, you were miserable with them" athanasia scoffed

" oh" Jeanette said, if you could read her face, you could see the jealousy she carried around the relationship between her sister and Penelope, they seemed so close closer than they ever were
