Chapter 30

They got back to the lapis palace which was the palace for guest, and people gasped and were surprised to see the emperor of obelia in Valdarian when it's a known fact that the empress despises him and in such terrible state

"  assist them to the guest chambers, send nurses and doctors to their aid, treat them kindly" she ordered the servants nodded and showed them to their rooms,  doctors and nurses quickly came to aid them, athanasia looked at the black magic from Claude that spread across the palace and groaned disgusted clearing them, she reminded herself to clear up the magic before it goes to her children

"Athanasia" a voice called out, she turned around to find her her husband Lucas, Athanasia and Lucas finally decided to tie the knot three years ago, they had a small wedding with only their family and friends invited

" Lucas" she smiled, he pulled her and wrapped his arms around her waist

" what's going on" he asked her

" Anastasius took the throne, Claude escaped with Felix now they're here" she sighed, Lucas is aware what was going to be obelia's fate as she once told him everything

" why would you let them in here after everything-"

" I understand but  trust me on this, okay" she gave him a peck on the lips

" you're not thinking of help-"

" no I'm not, I'm kicking them out after this" she assured him

" now clean this up and maybe I'll tonight I'll show you how much I love you" she smiled Lucas smirked and pulled her into another kiss but after four minutes athanasia pulled out before they went any further, she didn't need another pregnancy

" now go!" She ordered then turned around and left before she does something bold, Athanasia met up with Felix while Claude was unconscious

" what happened" she ordered,  even though she already knew

" the former emperor turned out to be alive and usurp  the throne, he was working with duke alpheus to overthrow his majesty" Felix told her

" that is horrific......my condolences" athanasia tried to sound apologetic, athanasia was trying with all her will not to laugh at Felix's face, even though she has sympathy for the innocent commoners who's life are now at stake because of Anastasius, she barely has any sympathy for the obelian empire as a whole, seeing the fact that in lovely princess, they celebrated athanasia's death for two chapters straight, it was so disgusting to read, and that says a lot for someone like Valda Carlisle

" we need your help" Felix announced athanasia wasn't taken back by his requested, she expected that he would ask her for help

" no, it's no longer my empire therefore it's not my problem" she simply denied, Felix sighed as  he knew she would said that, after the way she was treated by them especially after her suicide attempt, any person would denied any assistance towards them

" his majesty needs to take the throne back, the people of obelia needs him"

" and  how is that my problem, from what I remember I was heavily hated on by your people, I should be the last person to ever ask for assistance over an empire who hated me as their princess only because I didn't reach their standards" she bluntly told him off

" your majesty,  I understand that obelia has caused you great pain, I am angry by the way you were treated especially being the daughter of my dear friend lady diana, I wish I could take that pain away from you, but please we need your help, you are the only one who can truly help us" Felix finished his speech, Athanasia sighed tiredly
