"Putr where are you? Come and help me in this" a sweet and melodious voice called for someone

"Pranipaat Mata" very deep yet warming voice answered her call

"Matashri, see this *excited look* I made them for you"

"It's so beautiful putri Dushala" The elderly lady smile after seeing the handmade gift

"Dushala, I think you should go before your so called big brother see you here" even if he was joking, we could hear sadness in it

He saw that someone was standing alone and thought it's best opportunity

"I should apologise to Angraj Karn for my and my brother's behaviour in kala pradarshan and this is best chance for me and there he is alone" Arjun took few deep breath and preparing if he doesn't accept his apology

"Pranipaat Angraj" Arjun said with decent smile

"Pranipaat Pandu putr" Karn replied being somewhat shocked that what does he need from him

Arjun seemed to understand his thoughts and said, "I'm here to apologise for mine and my brother's behaviour in kala pradarshan, it was so foolish of us to judge you on the basis of your caste"

Karn was stunned for a moment and then replied, "I accept you apology Rajkumar"

Arjun smiled at him and thought, "He is just like Mata, I need to find out about him, who is he and why did he have divine Kavach and Kundal"

"Then would you like to be my friend, Angraj??" This words slipped out of his mouth before he could stop them

"I don't know, My mitr don't like you but I don't hold grudgesto you all" Karn gave him a small smile and Arjun's face showed anger and sadness but he understood and gave him a knowing smile

"Don't get him wrong Rajkumar, he has his reasons to hate you all, I'm not saying that whatever he did was correct but it's just from childhood itself his parents left him with a man why had nothing but vengeance in his heart and he wanted love that he got from Gandhar Raaj, he was manipulated to do all the wrong deeds *he paused for a second* and there is mistake of the elder of the Karuvansh, they always sided with you Pandavas and didn't gave or does anything they should do and they always sided/favoured you'll over them, every single time *his voice cracked a little* and I can bet that I know my mitr and Kauravas better than anyone I this palace, better than his parents" Karn explained and his face showed alot of emotions

[I'm not justifying Duryodhan's acts, it's just I donno why but I always feels connected to the villain and if his parents or elders gave him and his brothers even small amount of love then I don't think he would ever became a weapon of Shakuni, once again it's my opinion no need to be offended like how I'm feeling sad for an Adharmi]

Arjun was too stunned to move, for the first time he was hearing their side of story, nobody in the past really valued about their opinion and he was convinced that they are evil and the plan he was making for them to become good was just waste of time but now he knows that this is his only chance, their only chance

"Angraj, I want one last favour from you" Arjun asked

"Sure?!" Karn was not sure what he was going to ask but he had a feeling that it has something to do with his mitr

"Umm... Actually-- *he took closed his eyes and gained courage* I wanted the rivalry between us -Kauravas and Pandavas- to end and before you ask it is not any trap, it's just we can't see our Badi Maa and Mata to be sad and we want Dushala to not share her love for her brothers" Arjun explained calmly

Karn took few minutes to proceed what he said and after good five minute of silence and said

"No"

“No?!" now it was Arjun's turn to be shock

"Yes, my answer is no, as much as I want all my brothers to live with their big family happily, I can't go against my mitr" Karn said in a calm tone that holds authority
