"But Jiji, your marriage with Dwarkadhish? How"

Bhanumati was literally speechless but she recovered from the shock which came from the information

"Bhanu dhairya rakho"

("keep patience Bhanu")

Satyabhama chuckled, before sitting on then swing present there, the smile never leaving her face

"Jab humein pitashree ne jab humein smaran Kiya tha, uss samay unhone ne humein bataya ki unhone humara vivaah tay kar diya hai, hum vyakul ho gaye, tab pitashree ne humein unke yeh nirnay ke karan se parichit karaya"

("When I was summoned by Father, that time he said that he had fixed my wedding, I was restless hearing that, then father told me the reason behind his decision")

"To wo karan kya hai jiji?"

("So what is that reason, Jiji?")

"He told me, the reason but by telling a story, the story was....."

Satyabhama then started to retell the story to her younger sister, the story her father told her and after hearing the story Bhanumati was extremely happy and excited for her Jiji's wedding

You may be wondering what happened, correct? Lets see what really made Chitrangada, arrange marriage of his first born with the king of Dwarka

FLASHBACK

Few days back King and Queen of Kalinga were travelling back to Kalinga after attending some royal ceremony, on their way back they were attached by a asura

The asura was not the normal, he was so powerful that he overpowered the small army, for protection purpose the king had

“Maharani, are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?”

“Maharaj I am fine, we should focus on how to defeat this asura”

And seems that asura took it as a cue and attacked them again, which they doged, Chitrangada, Kalinga’s King was thinking of some strategy just when an arrow came into sight and directly aimed for that asura

“Maharaj, Maharani aap dono swasth hai?”

(“Maharaj, Maharani are you two okay?”)

The voice, they had heard it somewhere, just then the source of voice came into their vision, their saviour is same person who saved their daughters few days ago

“Dwarkadhish, you here in midst of forest?”

"Yes, I happened to use this route for Going back to Dwarka, when I heard the asura's voice"

Chitrangada and his wife just nodded at his words when Chitrangada hissed because of the wound

"Maharaj agar aapko koi apati na ho to aap humare shibir chal vishram kijiye"

("Maharaj if you don't mind then you can rest in my camp")

“Apitu hum aapko koi dikkat nahi dena chahte hai”

(“But I don't want to burden you”)

“Maharaj I insist, you and maharani needs rest, I recommend that you both please come to my camp and get the appropriate medicine and rest”

Now when, king of Dwarka, Shree Krishna himself is requesting them then how can they deny? They agreed to his suggestion when Krishna commanded his soldiers to take King and Queen of Kalinga safely to their camp meanwhile he will manage that asura

“Maan na padega tumhe, mai ye to nahi bol sakta ki ye uchit tha apitu humare priye ke mata pita ke saamne humari chaavi aur bhi aachi ho gayi, ab to humara vivaah ho kar rahega, dhanyawad, ab aap mukt hai”

("I have to say you are something , but I cannot tell you that this was right, but my image infront of my my beloved's mother and father became greater than before,now my and my beloved's marriage will definitely take place, thank you, now you are free")

Govind said while softly caressing that asura’s back when a light surrounded that asura's body and his soul bowed and payed his respect to Govind before disappearing and merged into God of universe

Now with Kalinga's King and Queen, they were impressed with Dwarkadhish’s behaviour and were indebted to him

“Dwarkadhish so kind! I don't know how we can repay him”

Chitrangada expressed his thoughts to his wife, who then suggested

“Nath, if you don't mind can I suggest something?”

“Yes Priye, don't hesitate say whatever you want to”

“Nath I was thinking to propose wedding of our daughter with Dwarkadhish”

“Our daughter? Maitri what are you saying?”

“Yes nath, No one else in this world is good enough for our Satyabhama”

Chitrangada then started to think what his wife just said, sure there were none who will ever will be able to be Satyabhama's partner, maybe what his wife is saying is correct

“Okay Priye, I'll talk to Dwarkadhish tomorrow morning”

His wife was bleaming with happiness and soon the night was adorned with the shiny moon with the star making it look peaceful

"Aap apne ghar jald aayengi Priye"

("You will come home soon dear")

And with that all could hear the melodious flute music

Now long story short, Chitrangada proposed his idea or more like asked Krishna to marry their eldest, Krishna accepted saying that his parents will soon visit Kalinga for the formalities purpose and to decide on marriage dates,   happiness has no bound for either 3 of them

"I will make you remember me again priye"
