Simple question yet Karn felt those words were killing him, his first friend was saying that she can't remember him

“Rajkumari, you should rest now, I promise to answer all your questions in the morning”

Krishna handled the situation, because he managed to see the broken look on Karn's face and this feeling wasn't foreign to him

Vrushali nodded her head and also she doesn't have any energy to argue, she went to sleep and the boys closed the door and ordered the guards to not let anyone in other than them

“Did their parents came here, we should inform about the situation to them”

Sahadev asked to all present their

“Rajkumari Vrushali and her sister Rajkumari Draupadi came with their sakhis Rajkumari Satyabhama and her sister Rajkumari Bhanumati, since Maharaj Draupad holds grudge against Hastinapur, he or any other royal members from Panchal didn't came”

Karn explained this to them while remembering something and said

“Rajkumaro, Mitron, Madhav, I shall go now, my parents are alone at home, I'll be there in the morning I promise”

They all nodded, Duryodhan & Ashwatthama hugged him and said to say his parents that they said pranipat and tell Radha ma that the kheer was delicious and they would come again to eat food made by her

Pandavas were shocked that Duryodhan & Ashwatthama used to eat food made by Karn's mother, don't get them wrong, they understood that the caste system is the worst thing and shouldn't judge someone on the basis of their caste, at that moment they just envied both Duryodhan and Ashwatthama for having a strong friendship and they also wanted to experience the joy of having a bestfriend who would do anything to protect them and to visit their house, complain about them to their mother and father. They were only ones, with eachother, they were their bestfriend and Yudhi was their father figure

Karn joins his hands and bowed a little to other and goes from there

“Me and Bheem will go and ask the elders as well as Maharaj and Maharani of Kalinga rajya to come to your room, Duryodhan”

Yudhi said to them and informed Duryodhan about his decision and Duryodhan obeyed him

On the otherside,

Karn reached at his home and saw that his parents were waiting for him,

“You two still up? I thought I told you to sleep without waiting for me”

“Ahh! You are finally here, let's eat dinner and sleep”

His words were ignored by his mother and his father, he signed knowing he can't win against those two, who only lives for him and loves him more than their life. Whenever he was in hastinapur, it was his routine to eat with his family only & sometimes even Duryo and Ashwa joins him

“Mata, Mitr Duryo and Mitr Ashwa told me to inform you that they loved the kheer and will come again to eat with us”

“ *smiles* tell them that they can come anytime they want and I'll make sure they will not go empty stomach”

“Is Maharani Gandhari and Gurumata Kripi okay with them eating in a sut family?”

His father expressed his thinking to him after they were sitting and talking with eachother after they had done their dinner

“Mata Gandhari and Mata Kripi is more than okay with them eating with a sut family, they even suggested to let us live in palace for me being Angraj, but I thought you two wouldn't like that”

“You did right putr, we don't like the royal life, we are happy of our peaceful normal life”

Karn nodded and told his parents that his quite late and they should sleep, after making sure they have slept, he stayed for sometime, massaging legs of his parents

Radha ma noticed that Karn is still their massaging their legs but she didn't said anything as she knew he wouldn't agree so she waited for few more minutes and said him to go to sleep as he would be needed in Darbar in early morning and he can't ditch his duties

“Okay mata I'm going and I think I'll be gone before you two wake up so don't do much work I'll do that when I'll get back”

He said this to his mother in a serious tone, his mata signed knowing he is serious and just nodded her head. Karn said goodnight to her and went to his own room, but sleep was far away from his eyes because he was lost in memories of her
