Denki couldn't help but watch Iida.

Currently they were in the living room, everyone was in here doing something, whether it was playing games or taking a nap (Tsu & Shoji) everyone was doing something, but Iida wasn't, he seemed really out of it and Denki was almost 100% sure it was about Shinso, aka his soulmate.

I mean he was really concentrated, usually when he was deep in thought he just looked confused but right now he looked angry, he's eye brows were furrowed while his eyes were narrow as his mouth was pulled into a deep frown, it didn't take a genius to realize that something happened and it obviously angered Iida, now Denki doesn't know the specifics on how him and Shinso met but he could only assume from the way Iida looked that it wasn't great.

He took a minute to think about how to approach this, on one hand he could just walk right on over to him and ask if he was alright, but on the other hand he could just pretend to be talking to Shinso and be sure that he hears him, the more he thought about it the more he realized that the first option was probably his best bet, so with one huff he quickly got up off of the couch and strutted on over to Iida.

"Hey Tenya relax a bit will ya? Your scaring the children" Denki stated as he plopped down beside Iida on the couch.

"H-Huh?" Iida questioned as he looked over at Denki with a puzzled look.

"Your uh, giving a pretty scary stare, I think you actually made Koda hide away" Denki stated teasingly, it made Iida blush in embarrassment.

"Ah.. I apologize I did not mean to seem so scary, I was just thinking a bit to intensely it seems!" Iida stated as he did a bit of a choppy hand motion with his arm.

"Yeah no kidding, what were you even thinking about anyway? Did someone insult your brothers name orrr?" Denki asked with a head tilt, he had a feeling it wasn't that but hey, Iida is very protective of his older brother.

"No nothing like that, I just think I might have messed up yesterday is all" Iida stated as he fixed his glasses, now that peaked Denki's interest.

"Messed up? How?" Denki quickly questioning as he brought his legs up to go criss cross applesauce.

Iida couldn't help but hesitant at Denki's question, did he really want to tell Denki of all people that he may have found his soulmate? I mean no offense to Denki but he wasn't exactly of gold mind of good advice, he was more of a rocky river of questionable advice, he was also not very close to the blond, yes they were friends and of course they hung out but really there was nothing telling Iida that he should trust Denki, because honestly Denki was a loose cannon filled with Glitter, he wasn't entirely sure if he wanted Denki to he the first person to find out he might have scared his soulmate away.

"I.. I don't believe I should tell you" Iida stated bluntly, there was no beating around the bush when it came to Mr Iida.

"Aww why not! I won't tell anyone, and it's not like I'm gonna give advice! Think about it as a.. Vent thingy" Denki tried to convince as he elbowed Iida lightly.

He shook his head at that, honestly Denki needs to get batter at the whole convincing people to do what he wants thing, because this was kinda sad.

But he did have a point, there was really no harm in telling Denki about what happened yesterday, it's not like it'd hurt anything and maybe a bit of venting would be good to clear his head, if not to just get it off of his chest.

"You are terrible at convincing people to tell you things, but at a logical point of view you do have a point" Iida stated with a small sigh, though Denki could only give a bright smile, it wasn't terrible if it was working!

Denki kept his grin in as he looked at Iida, waiting for him to finally open up to him and tell him exactly what he wants to hear, Iida gave a final sigh before he caved in, looks like he was going to tell Denki about his problem.

"Yesterday evening I may have.. Run into my soulmate" Iida finally stated hesitantly, Denki looked at him excitedly as he nodded his head, urging him to continue "And I fear I may have scared him, he was training and I had snuck up on him without thinking and it got me a punch in the face, entirely on me, but later on when he noticed that I saw his soul mark he ended up running away and I was to shocked to stop him, I think I may have been to intimidating or perhaps to straight forward in a manner that startled him, or I assume their a him" Iida finished as he scratched his cheek in disappointment, he may have fucked up big time, he was almost 100% sure that was his soulmate, their soul marks looked identical (or at least he thinks so with the quick glimpse he got of it)!

"Woah.. He just, ran away? And you didn't stop him? Your quirk is literally being fast, how did you miss him" Denki couldn't help but ask, was he glossing over the fact he's soulmate hit him? Yes, why? Because he didn't wanna embarrass him more.

"Indeed, I was frozen to my spot for a moment to long and ended up not being able to find him again" Iida stated sadly, if he had been just a bit faster with his reaction then maybe he'd know his soulmates name.

"Hmm.. Well, what does he look like? Maybe I've seen him, or I can keep an eye out for him" Denki offered, even though he already knew who it was, I mean what Iida didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

"I.. Suppose it wouldn't hurt, he had gravity defying purple hair with lavender eyes I think.. He had some really dark eye bags and-" Iida went to continue and was cut off.

"And, let me guess, a sarcastic attitude and a weirdly soothing voice?" Denki questioned as he looked over to a stunned Iida.

"Why.. Yes, exactly that, how did you know?" Iida questioned as he looked over at Denki with a puzzled exspersion, had he been watching them?

"Well.. How could I not? He's Midoriya's best friend!" Denki stated happily.

"Midoriya..? You mean the student that was rumored to be quirkless?" Iida asked with a raised brow, he'd heard the rumors for weeks in their first year but he really didn't bother to engage in gossip, especially if it could he harmful.

"That's him! Turns out Midoriya is Katsuki's childhood friend, and he's helping us find our 3rd soulmate, so we end up meeting him and Shinso a lot sense their basically attached at the hip" Denki explained gleefully, he couldn't help it! He was just excited!

"Really? You wouldn't mind.. Giving me his number would you? Or perhaps help me get close enough to talk to him?" Iida asked hopefully, he had a feeling asked Denki for help would backfire but maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask.

"I mean.. I don't know what I could do but Midoriya would sure as hell want to help! We could all meet up to discuss it if you want?" Denki questioned as he tilted his head to the side.

"Yes I.. That would be nice, thank you, Kaminari" Iida thanked him with a bright smile, Denki couldn't help but mirror that smile.

"It's nothing, now I better go before Katsuki starts yelling for me" Denki stated with a huff as he got up from the couch, he stretched his arms up until he got a satisfying pop, making him give a satisfied sigh.

"Right, well good night Kaminari" Iida stated respectfully.

"Night class prez" Denki stated cheekily as he walked away.

Mission accomplished!.. Probably...
