DD has been stranded on this small island for
almost a week, starved, thirsty, hungry.
She felt so disgusting.
So dry.
Every day, she felt the sun slowly boiling her flesh off her bones.
Usually she would wash her face with the salty water in order to stay cool.
Finding natural remedies to keep her skin smooth and clean.
But it wasn't enough.

Her leather like oversized hood with tiny ridges at the ends.
Her curly bangs sticking to her face.
Hand made red bandanna tied to her head, keeping the back of her hair in check.
Leather boots all beat up, and red biker shorts still in tacked.
Along with her ripped up fingerless gloves.

DD knew that there was no hope.
She was going to die, sad and alone with no one to love.
No weapons, no food, no clean water.

Nothing.

This was how she was going to go out.
She excepted her fait, slowly walking towards the little hut she made out of sticks and leaves.
Laying down, rolling up in a ball.
Her light brown skin now looking slightly darker from the burning sun.
She clenched her stomach as it growled at her.
Groaning in pain, her eyes squeezed tightly.

Till, she heard something heavy wash ashore.
DD's eyes shot open, unrolling herself from her ball looking behind her back.
She looked through the small opening of her hut, only seeing sand and water so far.
She poked her head out scanning the area.
The seas where calm and graceful.
The water glistening from the sun.

She found an empty wooden boat with gold pushed up in the sand, almost swaying with the waves.
DD brought the courage to crawl out of her hut.

Could this be her chance to get out of here?
Was there people here?

She looked around for a moment with second thoughts, then continued her short journey to the dinghy.
She looked inside, finding paddles to row the boat.
She was about to get in it, only to hear a voice from a short distance.

"Ahoy stranger!" A female pirate voice spoke.
DD immediately turned around in terror, now facing two female mobians.
A bat, and a pink hedgehog all standing on top of a small cliff.
"What brings ye to the no place?" The bat asked, holding her sword to the side other hand gripping on a palm tree.
DD didn't know what to do, she just froze as she looked at them.

"Strange...never seen a human before." The pink hedgehog added.
They both jumped down, now looking angry like she's passed their territory.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm uhh n-not here to cause harm." DD said, hands held in front of her in defense.
"Aye bet she's one of the old crew." The pink mobian whispered to the bat.

"O-old crew?" DD asked.
They ignored her question.
"What should we do?" The pink mobian asked once again.
"I say, we pirate!" The bat exclaimed, unsheathing her sword.
Pink looked in concern.
"B-but the captain's not here." She nodded.
"I don't think he would appreciate us, yea know...pirating." Pink smirked at the so called intruder.
DD looked confused.

"What?" She asked.

"Well ya know how the saying goes Rose...dead men tell no tale." They both unsheathe and point their swords at DD in a threatening manner, taking one step at a time cornering her to the water.
"Wait no! I didn't do anything, I'm just trying to find help!" DD told them.
But they didn't care.

All they cared about was this 'pirating' thing.

They both raised their swords, ready to slice her into bits.
Before they could, she sped out of the way then swerved around them.
Knowing it's a small island, she hardly had anywhere else to go other than water.
She quickly climbed up the rocks to get away from the pirates, only to be chased by them.
DD finally made it to the top, only to be blocked by a certain bat.
