"KEEM I DONT want him around me" Vero wined as she spoke to her brother "your being dramatic again, dd's chill your just not giving him a chance" Vero shook her head at her brothers words

"He's annoying and follows me around like I'm sum sort of child" she complained "you are a child, but you wanna go round fighting people like your grown, you put this on yourself" Keem said sternly to his younger sister

"One minute left" the monotone voice sounded through the call letting them know that there conversation had to come to an end

"Ight whatever, I'll visit you soon okay" the two exchanged goodbyes before the call came to an end

Just as the call came to an end the doorbell rang, Vero groaned as she got up out of bed slowly making her way to answer the door

"Your back" she frowned at the sight of dd before trying to quickly close the door but unfortunately dd had prevented her from closing the door with his foot

"Go awayyy" she wined looking him up and down with crossed arms

"I've got weed" dd offered Veros lips quirked up into a smile at his words "are you bribing me?" She asked "so that's a yes then" dd said smartly before walking past her inviting himself in

"So how've you been Veronica?" dd asked as he slouched down onto her couch "it's Vero" she corrected him before slouching down beside him

"So?" She asked eagerly

"So..."

"Where's the weed dummy" she rolled her eyes, dd searched in his pockets before looking around cluelessly "oh i must of forgot it" he threw his hands up in the air dramatically, the sarcasm dripping from his voice

"You lied didn't you, so that I'd let you in" she scoffed at her own foolishness

dd let out a low chuckle at Vero's disbelief "so watchu wanna do instead?" He finally asks her "I don't wanna do nothing with your lightskin ass" she insulted before heading upstairs to her room, dd of course had to follow behind her

"Get dressed I'm going to meet my guys and your coming with me" he told her as he eyed her hello kitty pyjamas that she was wearing trying his best not to laugh

"Don't laugh! These are comfortable and I wasn't expecting anybody to be coming over" she defended what she was wearing as she noticed him eying her choice of clothes

"Ight we'll just letting y'know you'll be expecting me over a lot, Keem says I have to come over regularly" dd says still holding in his laugh

"That's definitely not happening, and I'm not going anywhere with you" she says shaking her head

"Yes you are" he laughs at her stubbornness before heading to the door "imma give you some privacy to get ready" he says before leaving

"Where did you say we was going again?" Vero asked as she struggled to keep up with dd as he walked ahead of them "to meet my friends" he said simply throwing a quick glance at her

"Don't worry Veronica they'll be nice to you" he teased making her shove him jokingly "what is it with you saying my government, I already told you it's Vero"

"it's not my fault your momma gave you a ugly ass name"

"Shutup my names perfectly fine" she defended "what's your gov anyways?" She asks "you mad federal, why you gotta know my government for" he said stubbornly before beginning to spead up his pace walking ahead of the girl

"Slow down" she groaned struggling to catch up with him

"no you hurry up" he says

"what are you huh, sonic?" she says sarcastically scoffing

the two then enter a building, Vero still trailing behind "I've never known someone who walks so slow" he sighs grabbing her hand tugging her through the thin corridor before entering a room full of people

Vero stands awkwardly besides dd feeling all eyes on her

"Yo dd which ones this?" One boy jokes making the whole room chuckle, dd lets go of Vero's hand, only then did she realise that they were still holding hands "nah this ain't a smooch, she's keems sister" he explains

There's a look of approval on all the boys faces at dd's words, all of them beginning to greet her

"Hi, I'm Vero" she says shyly no knowing what to say

The boys nod at her words, some dapping her up while other just nod at her and introducing themselves to her

Vero takes a seat awkwardly, deciding to go on her phone to avoid any conversation

"You smoke?" The besides her asks, Veros lips curl into a smile and before she can accept his offer dd buts in

"Yea, she's a whole weed addict" dd jokes "fuck you" Vero shoots back jokingly "your the one who lets me smoke all your weed"

There was a look of confusion on some of the boys faces "wait dd shared his weed with you?, he don't even share his weed with me!" ddot said with a voice of disbelief

"You guys chill it's not that deep, keem asked me to look after his sister so that's what I'm doing" dd chuckled slightly

"Yea, I bet your looking after her realll gooodd" one of them jokes making the whole group laugh, that of course Vero didn't laugh at she had decided that dd's friends were as just as annoying as he was.
