it's been about 3 days since the sleepover and me and jj have got along pretty well. i haven't seen any of the pouges since thursday, must be on a quest.
i dance around my room to sam cooke.
my phone begins to ring and it's sarah.
"wanna hang? i'm bored, and topper has left me for my brother." she says and i laugh.
"sure. my place or yours?" i ask as i turn down the music
"mine. wheez wants some help with her schoolwork if that's okay?" she asks and i agree.
i grab my bag and keys along with some cash and phone. i put my shoes on and head out. i write a note to my mom saying i'm heading out.
i walk to the cameron's place and a car speeds past and i scoff.
"princess!" i hear from the car and turn around. rafe is hanging out the window and i roll my eyes at the situation.
"want a ride?" he speaks
"im heading to your place, it's all good!" i shout back and he puts a thumbs up.
"just get in bonnie, im heading back to sarah anyway." topper shouts and i shrug and get back in
"you're seriously ditching me for sarah right now?" i hear as i get in the back.
"im scared that her and sarah will do something stupid. they always do when they're alone together. remember last time? cops came to the house rafe, cops came. and for what? because bonnie had an argument with an old woman about a parking space!" he explains and i shrug
"that old woman had it coming! she nearly stole my spot! i clearly had my eye on it and she decided to race to it. she clearly could give the heat but couldn't take it. not my fault. and sarah was just being my hype woman!" i say and he starts the car, turning it around.
"you still can't do that to an elderly bon!" topper says and i shrug it off
"it's alright, she's probably over it." i say and look at my phone
i call sarah.
"hey, your boyfriend is coming back and giving me a ride. yes, yes i'll still help wheez. no i'm okay thanks. wait, what you eating? okay save me some, mama loves pizza. after i helped wheez! you're probably gonna be making out with topper, anyway? fine pick the movie but if it's a rom com, i'm out. alright. love you too." i say and the boys look at me. top through the mirror and rafe is turning to look at me
"what?" i ask and they frown
"what the fuck was going on? that was like 5 conversations in one." topper says and rafe laughs.
"literally like, mama loves pizza. what the fuck was that?" rafe says and i shake my head
"like you have room to talk, remember in high school, papa loves me some ice cream." i say and hopper laughs
"hey! i was drunk for one and two we agreed to never talk of that again." he says and i put my hands up.
we arrive and i run through the door, tripping over something.
"yeah, rose decided to get a carpet here." rafe says as he shuts the door seeing me on the floor
"you don't say." i say and get up. wheezie comes down the stairs and i hug her tightly.
"right, what do you need help with today? literature? math? chem?" i listen and she laughs
"math. i have my notebook upstairs." i follow her up and see her study things on the ground. the door is still open and i see rafe walk into his room.
"so, oh shit, it's trig? i'm real bad at that. it took me ages to learn. let me read through the notes for a sec." i say and read through them.
"rafe!" i shout and he groans through his room
"what now?" he shouts and opens his door
"i have not a clue what this means." i say and give him the textbook.
"that one is sin, that's tan, that's cos. remember that the sin is opposite over hypotenuse." he says and looks down at me as he explains.
"right! and the tan is opposite over adjacent!" i say and he nods, and i smile at him
"okay you're free to go." i say and sit back down with wheez and he leaves
"dude, you guys should date. i would be your sister in law!" she says and i laugh and shake my head
"i would rather die than date your brother." i say and she shakes her head with a smile
"anyway! cos is adjacent over hypotenuse- hey, i'd be writing this down if i was you!" i say and she giggles, grabbing her pen and writing her notes as i help her through the steps.
after about 20 minutes of testing wheezie, sarah shouts for us.
"you guys finished being nerds?" she says as she leans on the doorframe.
"yep. let's go watch whatever shitty movie you chose." i say and help wheezie clean up. we head in the living room and sit on the couch as sarah hand me some pizza. i thank her and wheezie and i sit next to one another as topper and sarah sit together.
"watch this." i say and grab a popcorn from wheezies bowl and throw it in toppers hair.
he does notice and i watch as rafe comes down stairs.
i grab another one and throw it at rafe and me and wheezie giggle.
"bonnie, fuck off!" rafe shouts and i laugh out loud.
"what'd you do?" sarah asks and i shrug
"look at toppers hair." i whisper and she sees the popcorn. she holds in a laugh and me and wheezie giggle.
"what's going on with you guys?" topper asks and sarah grabs the popcorn from his hair and eats it.
"nothing" she says simply with a wide smile
i wake up and wheezie is sleeping on my chest whilst sarah and topper are nowhere to be seen. suddenly, cold water is thrown on us and we gasp.
"jesus!" wheezie screams and i laugh.
"fuck you guys man." i say to topper and sarah.
"i have no clothes." i say and sarah offers to let you borrow hers.
i walk upstairs with wheez and i go to sarah's room and grab a hoodie and shorts.
"why are you wearing my hoodie?" rafe asks when i come out
"it was in sarah's room?" i say and he gets serious.
"sarah! you said you didn't know where my hoodie was!" he shouts and i follow him downstairs
"oops?" she says and i laugh, pushing past him.
"do you want it back? it's not a big deal." i say and sit down on the couch
"yeah." he says and i turn around in shock
"what? no! this is a good hoodie, i thought you'd ere gonna be nice and be like no bonnie, it's okay! you keep it, it looks better on you then me, you know you're so pretty and funny, you deserve it." i say in a man's voice and he rolls his eyes whilst topped and sarah hold in laughs
"i want it back by tomorrow." he says and i nod with a big smile, as he heads up stairs
"he's never getting this back!" i say and they both laugh.
we watch a random tv show for while, making jokes and having fun. wheez didn't come back down so i guess she fell asleep
i slept on sarah's lap and topper sleeps on her shoulder.
