"EDUARDO, NO!" Floriana loudly exclaims as she felt a pair of arms wrap around her, bringing her to the edge of the boat. After touching the ice cold water earlier, she knew she didn't want to get in.
Eduardo, of course, wanted to play around with her. He couldn't hold back his laugh as he sets her back down. She reaches up and playfully slaps his shoulder. The two of them laughed as they sat down on the seats at the edge of the boat.
"I'll pay you if you get into the water."
"No."
"C'mon, Flor!"
"The water is cold!"
"But it's warm out here. I'll even warm you up!" Eduardo happily exclaims as he lays on top of Floriana.
She lets out a chuckle as rested his head against her shoulder. "Yes because you are so warm." She raises her eyebrow, gently patting the top of his head.
He softly hums in reply. The warm breeze provided a blanket of comfort as he laid against her.
Internally, Floriana kept praying that he couldn't hear how fast her heart was beating. She was grateful that the pink tint on her cheeks could be covered up with the excuse of the sun and tanning.
Her fingers trailed over his hair and she found herself playing with the ends of his tied up hair. "I'm excited for Paris. I'm going to have to be on duolingo all night!"
"There's no need." Eduardo chuckles as he sits up, glancing over at her. "I can just be your translator."
