for her

"Do we know if she had family?"

"Yeah." Steve said as he stared down at the ground. Tony was asking the question, referring to parents, or siblings. Her whole family was in the blip, so Natasha only had them. "Us." Steve said. You knew he was upset, and depressed because he barely ever gave answers like that. Such quick and one worded answers.

"What? Huh? What are you doing?" Thor asked, walking towards Tony. He was in denial about the whole situation, Natasha couldn't of have been gone. It was so hard for him to accept that he didn't want to accept it.

"Just asked them a question." Tony said, turning around to look at him.

"Yeah, no, you're acting like she's dead. Why are we acting like she's dead? We have the stones, right? As long as we have the stones...Cap, Cecelia, we can bring her back. Isn't that right?" He asked the two, who were closest to Natasha. Cecelia put her head in her hands, the bandages scratching at her head. "So, stop this shit. We're the Avengers. Get it together." Thor said, Cecelia shook her head. It was a soul for a soul, there was no way Natasha could get back to them.

"We can't get her back." Cecelia said, it was so quiet it was almost like a mutter. Her voice shook as she said the words nobody wanted to hear.

"What's...she..? You're a child, you don't know what you're talking about..." Thor said, Cecelia shook her head. Steve grabbed her hand, interlocking their fingers. He rubbed his thumb against her hand, trying to soothe her.

"It can't be undone. It can't." Clint said, looking down. He was leaning up against a post with his arms crossed against his chest. He had the same thoughts as Cecelia.

It should've been me.

You should've brought them up faster.

Thor laughed at this, not thinking it was funny. He was just in pure shock. "Look, I'm sorry, no offense, but you're a very earthly being, okay? And we're talking about space magic. And "can't" seems very definitive. Don't you think?" Thor asked as Cecelia looked up at Tony. He was hiding back his emotions, he'd accepted it all. He was more than upset about it, but he'd wreck himself if he never accepted it.

"Yeah, look, I know I'm way outside my pay grade here. But she still isn't here, is she." Clint told him, Tony took off his glasses. Looking down.

"It can't be undone, that's at least what the red-floating guy up their had to say. Maybe you wanna go talk to him, okay? Go grab your hammer and you go fly and you talk to him." Clint yelled at Thor, pointing his finger. He looked at everyone around him, reading their expressions. Everyone was upset.

"It was supposed to be me. She saved my life just so she could sacrifice her life for the stone." Cecelia broke, Clint looked at her. That wasn't true, not in his eyes. It wasn't that way in anyone's eyes. Natasha sacrificed herself, it wasn't anyone's fault.

Suddenly, a loud grunt was heard. Bruce had thrown a bench into the lake, he turned around to look at everyone, the bench splashing inside the lake.

"She's not coming back. We have to make it worth it. We have to." Bruce said, Steve stood up, bringing Cecelia up with him. Their hands still together.

"We will."

Tony, Bruce and Rocket put a glove together. Someone had to snap their fingers. In that time, Cecelia put her suit back on, in case of any tragedy. So did Steve, Clint, Rhodey, and Scott. Cecelia was in her white suit, and her hair was pulled into a high ponytail with a braid going through it. Natasha loved her hair that way.

Cecelia was putting weapons into her belt, Clint being across from her in the room, grabbing arrows. It was just the two of them. "It wasn't your fault." Clint said, as Cecelia loaded a hand gun with bullets. A small click was heard as she closed them in. She put it into her belt as she looked over. He was staring at her, pity on his face. "Don't blame yourself." Clint told her, Cecelia looked away from him.
