Chapter 23

Over the fact Pierre was leaving for Milan, Lucia, woke up first, her boyfriend was still sleeping so she did her morning routine and then changed into her clothes, she walked in the kitchen to take the ring

"Good Morning!" Charles was up and Lucia greeted him, she looked at the counter

"Where is my ring?" Lucia asked and she turned to her Monegasque friend

"What ring?" Charles asked smiling wickedly

"Pierre gave me a promise ring! Where is it?" Lucia asked looking down for the ring "Charles that's not funny!"

"I didn't get any ring!" Charles replied laughing

"Leclerc I swear to the God I will kill you!" Lucia said madly

"Romano I swear to the God I didn't take any ring!" Charles said defending himself

"I lost it!" Lucia started looking down of the counter, Charles as well

They heard steps and they both stood up

"Good Morning!" Pierre said smiling and he kissed Lucia

"Good Morning babe!" Lucia said acting innocent

"Good Morning mon ange" Pierre replied smiling, he looked at her finger "the ring?"

"Ehm... my fingers are too swollen and it's small so I placed it back to my toiletry" Lucia answered

"Good" Pierre served himself a coffee and Lucia looked at Charles nervously

"Are you sure everything is fine?" Pierre asked

"Totally" Lucia replied nervously "I will walk in the bedroom"

The Italian girl almost run in the bedroom and she opened all of her toiletries and her bags with jewelleries but nothing

"Where are you?" Lucia said madly, she was searching in the whole room for 10 minutes couldn't find it anywhere

Lucia took a deep breath and she walked in the kitchen, in her way there Charlotte get out of the room

"Good Morning!" The Monegasque girl said smiling and the two friends had a hug

"Morning because if it was good I wouldn't lose my ring!" Lucia whispered madly

"What ring?" Charlotte asked not really understanding what's happening

Lucia took a deep breath

"Pierre gave me a promise ring... he said that one day he'll marry me and we'll have kids" Lucia said smiling "but last night I watched some dishes in the sink, I took off my ring to wash them and because my fingers were too swollen I let it on the counter! In the morning it wasn't there! I looked to my bags with my jewelleries and nothing!"

"Oh honey! I didn't watch it!" Charlotte said feeling sad "Did you tell that to Pierre?"

"No I can't! It's the best gift he has even given me!" Lucia said wanting to cry

"Don't worry! Charles will drive Pierre in the airport and we'll look for it!"

As Charlotte said Pierre and Charles left for the airport and the two girls were looking for the ring but nothing

"You sure you didn't wear the ring during the washing?" Charlotte asked and Lucia moved her head negatively

"It got lost!" Lucia sighed "Pierre will be so mad at me!"

"Don't worry about him! We can't find it nowhere! How it got lost?" Charlotte asked

"He won't be in Monaco I'll watch him again in five days before we'll leave for Brazil so I can hide it!" Lucia said smiling

"And what is it? Pregnancy to hide it?" Charlotte asked and Lucia laughed

"Not yet!" Lucia replied smiling

The days passed and Lucia couldn't find her ring nowhere so she was in the jet to Brazil without wearing the gift her boyfriend gave her

"Where is your ring mon ange?" Pierre asked looking at her hand

"Do you want me to wear a ring with leggings and hoodie!" Lucia replied

"The ring is for more special occasions!" Charlotte added

"Okay I'll wait to watch it again during the Grand Prix" Pierre winked at his girlfriend

Lucia looked at Charlotte with a disappointed look, Pierre will kill if he'll find out about the missing ring
