Chapter 28

August

Pierre and Lucia were driving themselves to the shopping centre, Lucia wanted to do some more shopping for their son

Lucia will give birth to a baby boy the next week, with the preparations for the baby becoming more difficult

"You feel good?" Pierre asked looking at her for a second

"Why did you open the air conditioning? I will freeze!" Pierre sighed and he closed the air conditioning "open the windows! It's so hot here!"

Pierre sighed and he opened the windows a bit madly

"Sorry but I am not good" Lucia said and she smiled

"The doctor said that you'll be like that don't worry!" Pierre smiled, as he crossed the junction someone came from the right side and hit them

Pierre had his eyes opened a bit, he was feeling dizzy, the car was down, he tried to watch Lucia but she had her eyes closed

"Lucia" Pierre said and he closed his eyes as well

A few hours later Pierre opened his eyes, he was in the hospital according to the fact that he had oxygen in his nose, he looked around, his mother was sitting next to him

"Maman?" ("Mom?") Pierre looked around "Où est Lucia?" ("Where is Lucia?")

"elle est dans l'unité de soins intensifs" ("she is in the intensive care unit") Pascale sighed "Lucia et le bébé vont bien! ("Lucia and the baby are doing well!")

"je veux la regarder" ("I want to watch her") Pierre tried to sit us but his mother didn't let him

"Elle va bien!" ("She is fine!") Pascale replied calmly

Lucia was in the intensive care unit with machines connected to her, both of her and the baby are doing well but she needs to be protected

Charlotte and Charles were in Milan as well, Marie called them, they both were really upset, the doctor walked to them that they were to Pierre's room

"Lucia is going well, but we need her to give birth" The doctor said

"If that's what she needs" Pierre agreed

"She'll be fine only if she will give birth the next 7 hours!" The doctor said "But you decide about that!"

"No she has to give birth" Pierre told the doctor "Go for it"

The next hour was so nervous for Pierre, his family and Charlotte with Charles

Lucia will give birth in 39th week but she'll be fine from what the doctor said

"Here we are" The nurse walked to Pierre's room holding the baby boy in her arms "Congratulations dad!"

The nurse gave the baby to his father

"Look at him!" Pierre said smiling, he just changed clothes because he'll get discharge from the hospital "Hello boy!"

"He is such a cutie!" Marie said smiling "Blonde hair! Both of you are blondes!"

"I was sure that he'll be the prettiest baby boy in the world !" Charles said smiling

"We have to take him to the room!" The nurse said and Pierre gave her the baby boy

"Ça fait tellement de bien!" ("It feels so good!") Pierre was totally happy with the birth of his son

Lucia was still sleeping, the doctors said that she'll wake up alone but now that she gave birth to the baby she'll be fine sooner

Pierre was happy that he became a father to a healthy baby boy but at the same time he was so upset and stressed with Lucia's situation, he can't even imagine his life without her but from what the doctor said she'll be fine!

She'll be fine!

That phrase was to Pierre's mind the whole time when he was to her room holding her hand tightly
