At School...

Shehnaaz's parents we sitting in the Principal's office and Sidharth was also present there.

"You can see Mr. And Mrs. Gill. Inspite of studying two years in the same class, what kind of marks she is getting in the class test. Agar aise hi chalta raha toh iss baar bhi 10th board exams mein apki Beti ka pass hona impossible hai. She has to take her studies seriously." Said the Principal.

"Hum samjh sakte hai lekin hum kare kya? Hum bas Shehnaaz ko bol sakte hai padhai karne ke liye. Iss se zyada kuch ho nahi paayega humse kyu ki main aur uski Mummy hum dono hi zyada padhe likhe nahi hai." Said Santokh Ji.

"Dekhiye baat woh nahi hai. Shehnaaz ka main problem hai uska attitude. Lagta hai jaise pass yaa fail hone se usse koi fark hi nahi padhta. Mere khayal se usse kisi strict tutor ki zaroorat hai. You can send her to some coaching centre."

"Humne daala tha coaching centre mein. Lekin waha Master Ji ne yeh bolke nikal diya ki Shehnaaz waha ka mahol kharab kar rahi hai. Uski wajah se dusre bacche bhi padh nahi paa rahe."

"Class mein bhi yeh hi hota hai." Said Sidharth. "I think usse home tutor ki zaroorat hai. Jo sirf aur sirf uske upar dhyan de."

"Home tutor ki fees toh bohut zyada hoti hai." Said Pammi Ji. "Yeh ik chhota sa grocery shop chalate hai. Jinni kamayi hoti hai woh ghar chalane mein aur school ki fees bharne mein chala jaata hai. Hun agar har subject ke liye home tutor rakhenge toh mahine ka kharcha dugna ho jayega."

Sidharth became quiet hearing that. It was evident that they wouldn't be able to afford it.

"Dekhiye hum bas itna jaante hai, agar aap ki Beti iss baar bhi fail hui, toh hum usse iss school mein nahi rakhenge. Yeh baat apni Beti ko acche se samjha di jiye ga."

Santokh Ji and Pammi Ji nodded and left from there.

They were leaving when Sidharth stopped them from behind.

"Excuse me. Suniye!" He said.

They turned to him.

"Mujhe aap dono se kuch baat karni thi."

"Ji kahiye." They said.

"Jaisa ki Principal Sir ne baataya, main Shehnaaz ka math teacher hoon. Recently join kiya hai iss school mein. Agar aap chaho toh main school ke baad ghar pe aake usse home tution de sakta hoon." Said Sidharth.

They became happy but then Santokh Ji said, "Lekin aap ki fees...."

Before he could complete, Sidharth said, "Don't worry about that. Zaroori baat yeh hai ki main math ke saath saath baki subjects mein bhi usse thoda bohut guide kar dunga jis se woh at least pass ho jaaye. Aur iss ke liye aap ko mujhe fees dene ki zaroorat nahi hai."

"Magar aap itna kuch bina fees liye karenge?" Asked Pammi Ji being confused.

Sidharth smiled and said, "Main bas aap ki Beti ki madat karna chahta hoon. Woh iss baar bhi fail ho gayi toh woh chiz school ki reputation aur uska future dono ke liye sahi nahi hogi. And I can also understand that your financial condition is not good. Isliye maine socha agar main bina fees liye aap ki beti ko home tution doon...."

After thinking for a while, Santokh Ji, "Aap humare liye itna soch rahe hai uske liye shukriya. Agar aap ki madat se Shehnaaz iss vaari paas ho jaaye toh iss se acchi baat aur kya ho sakti hai? Toh aap kab se suru kar rahe hai?"

"Kaal se hi start kar sakta hoon. Aap bas apna address de di jiye."

Santokh Ji gave Sidharth their address and they exchanged their contact numbers as well. After that Santokh Ji and Pammi Ji left from the school.
