Goodbye Isn't Forever 💜

"...Mmrgh...?" Inumaki murmured.

"Yuta...?" Panda echoed, eyes opening. "...Yuta?! Geto's after yuta! Wait... what happened?!"

"Yuta's not moving." Luna replied, her sharingan locked.

After that powerful blast, Yuta was rendered unconscious. She could see his tiny figure splayed on the ground, Rika nowhere to be seen. She spotted Geto next, covered in blood and looking more battered than the former, especially since his whole arm got severed.

She quickly ran towards him with others following close. By the time everyone ran over to where Yuta laid, Geto was nowhere to be found, but he left a blood trail so they weren't too worried. Instead, they hovered over their friend.

Panda pressed a paw against his pulse. "There's a pulse!" He announced, making everyone sigh in relief.

"He's already waking up," Maki said next.

They watched as Yuta's deep blue eyes fluttered open.

"Hey, Yuta! Are you okay?!" Maki practically shouted at his face.

"Mustard leaf!" You got a drink.

"Get a hold of yourself, Yuta!" Panda exclaimed.

"Y-yuta?" Luna stutters in tears looking at his injuries in despair.

Yuta immediately locked eyes with her. Without warning, he shot up and trapped her in a tight embrace, her face pressed against his chest. She could feel his tears dropping onto her hair.

"Thank god...!" He sobs weakly, nuzzling his face in her shoulder as she took a shaky breath. "When I came to you, saw you unconscious in blood, I thought I lost you forever, as if my heart stopped for a moment." She sobbed in his embrace before apologising.

Kakashi looked down at the weeping teenagers before a soft smile crept on his lips. Aya, our little girl has grown up. She has found the one who will protect her and keep her happy.

"Um baby, your father is here..." Yuta whispers softly making her nod. Both of them separated before sharing a smile as yuta turned towards others.

"What about you guys? Are you all alright? Maki, Inumaki-kun... AAH! PANDA! YOUR ARM DIDN'T HEAL!"

Maki cracked a smile. "Calm down. We're all doing better than you."

"I can fix my arm later, unlike these three," Panda chortled.

"Yuta," Rika called out to him, sitting down a few feet away from the group like a puppy.

He smiled sadly. "Sorry, Rika-chan. Kept you waiting, huh?"

Everyone exchanged confused looks as he slowly rose to his feet to walk towards the curse.

"What is it, Yuta?" Maki asked.

He winced. "Ummm, in exchange for lending me her power, I kinda promised Rika-chan I'd go to the same place as her."

"HAAAH?!"

"Same place?" Luna stutters, "Are you talking about the afterlife?!"

"Yeah, kinda."

"DOESN'T THAT MEAN YOU HAVE TO DIE?!" Panda shrieked.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, MORON!"

Everyone shot up to their feet to yank him back, ready to plead and beg for him to stay, when suddenly the gigantic curse broke to pieces, revealing a little girl.

"Eh?" Yuta blinked in surprise. "Rika-chan?"

Luna's eyes bulged out in astonishment. This was Rika's human form?! She was so cute! She was just an adorable little girl in a red dress and features full of innocence. Totally opposite of her cursed form.

Before anyone could say anything, clapping could be heard. They whirled over to the side where Gojo, lacking his usual blindfold, approached them.

"Congratulations," he said brightly. "Dispelling complete."

Yuta, Maki, Panda, and Inumaki all stared at him blankly. "Who?"

Gojo's face twitched. "It's the good-looking guy, Gojo Satoru-sensei."

Luna's face burned as she saw those enchanting baby blue eyes staring at her. She smiled nervously before walking upto her father, standing beside him.

"The theory you had about Yuta coming from a Jujutsu family, followed by Yuta's own opinions were so interesting to me that I ordered an investigation of his ancestry." He explained. "We had finished Rika a long time ago, but there was merit in looking into Yuta as well. And then, you were a descendant of Sugawara-no-Michizane! Meaning you're a super distant relative of mine!"

Kakashi looked at yuta blanched before staring at him with poker face. I almost take my words back Aya, our daughter will go crazy if that boy is as much like as Satoru.

"Um, who?" Yuta said.

"One of the three greatest Japanese vengeful spirits," Maki answered, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"A super big time sorcerer," Panda added.

"Tuna." Toge spoke.

"You were right, Yuta," Gojo continued. "Rika didn't curse you. You were the one who cursed her."

Yuta's throat ran dry, Luna looked at him worried.

"The one who established the curse just revoked the master and servant status," Gojo went on. "If the cursed side doesn't desire to lay any punishment, then the dispel is complete. And you can tell just by looking at her."

"So it was all my fault," he croaked, tears streaming down his face. "Making Rika-chan take that form, hurting a lot of people. Because Geto aimed for me, a lot of people almost died..." He crumpled to the ground, hands clutching at his face. "It's all... all my fault!"

He gripped at his hair, but before he could hurt himself, Rika stepped up and embraced him.

"Thank you, Yuta," she said quietly. "For giving me time. For always being beside me. During these six years, I've been happier than when I was alive."

Rika pulled away, a sweet smile on her face. "Bye. Be well. And..." She trailed off, her eyes glancing over to a certain silverette before looking back at him. "I love you, and I let you go."

Rika stepped back, her form glowing brightly.

"Don't come over here too fast, okay?"

"Okay," he promised tearfully.

"See you."
