"Yes thanks mom" anina said thanking her mother for the money for the booth

"Don't mention it I'll be by later to pick you and niara up" she said as nina ate a fruit bowl knowing her mother would most likely forgot and just not come

"For what" Nina asked

"So you and your sister can see herbert and his kids" she said and Nina rolled her eyes

"And tell niara don't- hold on mom my daddy calling" She said cutting her off

"Don't tell him where you staying nina" she said then nina hung up

"Hey daddy" nina said smiling

"Hey princess why did I go by yalls place yesterday and nobody was there" he asked

"Well uh um" she mumbled knowing she couldn't lie to her dad

"Dad if I tell you something promise you won't tell anyone or get mad" nina said

"I promise princess" he said

"Mommy moved us to Chicago a few days ago and we live with our grandmother" she said and she just knew his eyes popped out

"What!" He yelled

"Daddy you said- daddy shit you didn't tell me so I can knock the shit outta yo momma" he asked

"No daddy I wasn't- what the hell and I'm shocked niara ass hasn't called" he said cutting her off

"She didn't wanna be the one to tell you" she mumbled

"Packs yalls things I'm coming to get your stuff together" He said about to hang up

"No dad" she semi yelled

"We can't leave"

"And why not and why aren't you staying with her where is she at" he asked

"She stays with her boyfriend"

"The nigga who just got out don't his kids stay with him- she left y'all!" He yelled

"Yes dad obviously if we stay with grandma" she said

"Man I tell you that hoe get slower by the days what she told you that bs that she would let y'all move in later lying hoe" he asked

"Yes how did you know- because that hoe a liar!" He cut her off yelling

"She put the L in liar she lie so much she don't know when she telling the truth or it's one of them made up fantasy's in her fat ass head" he said beyond mad

"They tell you be careful who you chose as your baby daddy nah be careful what babymomma you choose I ain't been happy since I met the big back witch" he said ranting as nina just listen

"Dad here goes niara she just misses you" she said pushing the phone off to niara when she walked in the room

"Hi daddy" she said smiling but it dropped once she heard why nina gave her the phone

"Why would you do that" niara asked walking into nina room

"I had to listen to it you should too" nina said doing a crossword puzzle

"He went on for two hours I fell asleep got back up he was still talking now him and granny talking about her together" she said sitting down

"She still haven't talked to granny" nina asked looking up as niara shook her head

"Nope have you talked to her"

"Yeah she sent me money for my booth have you talked to her " nina said pushing her glasses back

"Girl no you know we just alike so we bump heads hate to admit it" she mumbled

"Maybe we should have a family dinner" nina shrugged

"With daddy mom and grandma"

"Girl set it up but you know how that might go" niara said shrugging

"Why I have to set it up I'm the youngest" nina mugged

"You the peacemaker tho" niara said laughing

"Any new men" nina asked niara

"Girl no I thought New York niggas was bad but baby these Chicago niggas nothing but trouble" niara sighed

"Nigga told me to hold some money for him I almost got locked up" niara said

"So new shop worker when can I get my hair done"

"First I haven't gave the money yet two Gotta book with me boo" nina said chuckling

"Girl please I'm your sister I raised you sweetie" she mumbled

"Girl we two years apart and I still raised you without me you would be in New York singing like that buck in a cup man" nina said making niara laugh

"Girl boo" niara said waving her off
