"Hello ladies today we have a new girl this is anina" the owner who's name she learned was cinthia

"Hello" everyone said in unison As nina waved

"Here we old fashion so if you have any babydaddy beef leave that at the door" she said as she walked nina to her booth

"We have workers here as young as fifteen in my eyes you got talent you shouldn't have to wait till you eighteen to work in a shop I was fourteen working in my mothers shop" she said as nina nodded

"I was wondering why you didn't ask for a license" nina chuckled knowing if that was the case she would be doing hair out of her grandmothers kitchen

"It's not really a requirement from me but if you see the state board lock up your station because it's not legal" she said and nina nodded but kinda confused why she would risk her business

"I love helping people and for people to show their talents so I would take the risk" she said reading her mind

"Here we are you can decorate how you like keep clean and don't steal anyones products you should be good here since your new we'll send you the walk ins" she said and nina nodded

"Thank you" nina said smiling

"No problem see you later baby" she said about to walk away

                                                  Chicago- tattoo shop

"Can you sweep in the back" the owner asked making her nod

Walking to the back she scrunched up her nose at the weed smell this would be a ghetto tattoo shop you could say

"Hey I gotta sweep" she told the man who's work room she came into

"alright and can you cleaning off my tattoo guns next" he asked and she nodded finally looking up to see a familiar face mark but she ignored him

"How did you learn how to draw" niara asked still sweeping

"I loved drawing since I was a kid it's like a talent I loved doing it so I decided I wanted to do tattoos when I got older" the man said

"What's your name again" niara asked

"They call me milk dud but my names tod" he said and she laughed

"You think you could teach me" she asked looking up to see mark staring her up and down

"What drawing" tod asked looking up at her also

"Yeah if you have time" she shrugged

"After my night sessions come back I'll teach you some things" he said and she thanked him

"How was work" granny asked with a tennis outfit on

"What do you have on" niara asked her

"I was playing tennis earlier with my friend" she said waving her off

"It was good though I made a friend he's going to teach me how to tattoo" she said smiling

"And I seen your fake grandchild" niara said rolling her eyes

"And who is that" granny asked

"The one who don't talk"

"Oh my baby mark" she said smiling

"He talks just not to you or people he doesn't know it's a reasoning behind that baby maybe if you tried to get to know him you would see that" she said kissing her forehead then walking out

"Yeah no" she shrugged walking out after her

"Oh sissy" nina said coming in her room

"Yes nina" Niara answered looking up from her phone

"Can you come to the bathroom with me granny's other grandchildren are downstairs and I don't wanna go by myself" she said putting quotations on grandchildren niara just nodded and stood up not wanting her sister to be uncomfortable

"Let's be fast so grandma won't make us talk" nina said running to the bathroom with niara behind her

"Aht!" Their grandmother yelled as they ran past the living room

"Get in here and speak!"

"Hi im nina you already know me and i have to use the bathroom" nina spoke fast running towards the bathroom as amir chuckled

"Hey I thought I would have to dodge y'all but it's the two I like"niara smiled plopping down next to deontae and amir

"I thought you liked mark too" deontae asked

"Yeah he was just talking about you yesterday" amir said

"What he say" she asked raising a eyebrow

"He called you a ugly bit- finish it and I'll tear yo ass up" granny said giving him a look to say she was not playing

"Sorry but that's more than any of these other girls get I think he likes you or he's gay" deontae said making her laugh

"Okay I'm back" nina said sitting next to them

"Y'all talk I'll be in the kitchen" granny said standing then walking away
