"So why do it take you so long to do wigs again" amir asked looking at his phone

"Because first you I wash treat and blow dry hair then I do a braid down followed by the time of the lace having to melt and the styling" she said

"Baby you don't have to explain to him" his mother said waving him off this was her birthday appointment and she just wanted something simple knowing that because she worked so many hours it would most likely mess up

"Mama tell nuni have a baby and let me be the uncle daddy" Amir said making her burn his mom with the hot comb

"That was your fault!" His mother yelled hitting him

"Ouch she burned you not me" he said holding his side

"Sorry about that" nuni sighed with her hand on her head

"It's okay it's his fault saying stupid stuff" she said rolling her eyes at him

"Ma you being mean to me over that thing" he asked point at her

"You be tryna eat my butt though" nuni said boldly

"Son you eat ass" she asked looking concerned

"I'm finna go get some Jamaican food" he said standing ignoring her question

"Bring me back some oxtails" his mouth said and he nodded

"What you want" he asked nuni

"A fat burger uh a milkshake and some onion rings" she said

"So nothing basically" he said then walked out

"Who's that" a worker who nuni did not know name came running in

"That's my son" Amir's mother said before she can answer

"You think he'll like me" by looking at her long hair and dirty nails she could tell he wouldn't he nearly messed with girls and when he did they were never basic

"Sorry baby he only like um classy girls" she said and the girl mugged her

"I'll ask him my self" she said walking out the room to go find him

"These young girls don't listen" she shook her head

"They be thirsty" nuni said then looking at her wrist for some reason

"Um are you okay" nuni asked making his mother look up

"Yeah I'm fine your not hurting me- no like mentally" nuni said stopping

"Yes we'll sometimes" she mumbled

"I just get so caught up with working and my kids I don't have much time to myself and when I do I just I still have work to do" she sighed

"How come you cut yourself" nina asked concerned

"Listen don't tell amir please" she said

"I won't but can you just tell me"

"I just I get so caught up with my emotions and overthinking I don't know what to do that's why I overwork myself so much I don't wanna be alone even though I have so many kids I feel so alone" she said looking down

"My mother used to cut herself too" nina opened up

"Did she ever tell you why"

"She explained to be and my sister one time she had to go to the hospital she told us she liked the feeling it made her feel stress free" nuni said and she nodded listening

"Even though me and my mom don't get along I still love her and want her here long enough to take care of me and amir kids" she said being delusional making his mother laugh

"You two would have cute babies" she smiled and Nina shook her head

"I guess we'll never know"

"This ugly bitch just chased me" amir said closing the door out of breath
