Preview of the next chapter because I really shouldn't leave this on cliff hangers when it takes six months for me to update.

The gun clicked. Alex looked at it, perplexed.

"I quit Sandhurst, IquitSandhurst, Alex please." Henry started babbling. He was crying. He was alive. The gun failed to shoot.

"Wh-what." Alex said. He popped the gun's safety on and put it on the nightstand, his hands shaking. The color had drained from his features. He was scared too. Henry hadn't noticed that when Alex was trying to kill him. "What do you mean you quit Sandhurst?"

"I'm not a soldier anymore, you wanker. Got sick of all the genocide and that ilk."

Alex's jaw dropped. "Why didn't you –"

Suddenly the door crashed open. Pez was wielding a fire extinguisher like a battering ram.

Pez registered Alex straddling Henry's naked chest, and immediately turned away, "Not again," he said, attempting to close the destroyed door to give them privacy.

"It's not what it looks like!" Henry shouted, "Alex was trying to kill me. I promise."
