Ever since your interaction, you couldn't stop thinking about a certain young general and his words. What ifs flooded your mind.

Luckily, your father and mother didn't seem to notice that you were gone for the majority of your party. Thank God, you think. Or they'll be reprimanding you left and right as to why you went outside alone... Even if you just stood by the porch.

"Y/N? Anak?" Your mother's voice pulled you our of your thoughts, and you turn to her.

She says, looking at you with a worried expression. "Ano bang iniisip mo, anak? Ayos ka lang ba? Kanina ka pa tulala."

"Wala po, mamma. Nadala lang po..." You trailed off, before clearing your throat. You excused, setting your embroidery down on the small table by the sofa, and kissed your mother's cheek before walking up the stairs, not noticing her worried frown.

You sighed, dramatically falling on your bed.

"Hindi kaya... Gusto mo na siya, señorita?" She said, making you furrow your eyebrows.

"Malabo, Celia." You shook your head.

You hesitated. Not that you don't trust Celia, no, you tell her everything. And she never ever shared anything you said to anyone else. You really couldn't explain why you're hesitating to tell her about your recent conversation with the young general.

You bit your lip, slowly sitting up on the bed.

She nods. "Opo, señorita."

You stood up, walking towards the window. You looked down at the busy town below, numerous people walking here and there, carriages passing through. How you wished to go there alone...

You sighed, turning to Celia.

You stated, turning back to look outside the window, not minding to look at Celia's expression.

He asks. "O kahit man lang pagkakaroon ng kasintahan?"

"Hindi po ako naghahanap ng kasintahan, heneral." You replied, brows furrowed.

You cleared your throat. "Celia... You look at her eyes expectedly. "At pakiusap, huwag mong sasabihin kahit kanino man... Lalo na sa aking mamma at pappa."
