I'm truly grateful for the overwhelming love and support you've showered on my OS book, making my day even more beautiful!

Without further ado, let's jump right in.

Arohi's induction into Birla Hospital on her inaugural day was a blend of excitement and nervous anticipation, navigating the lively corridors and encountering unfamiliar faces. Little did she anticipate that her clever banter with Abhimanyu would act as a prologue to a whimsical romance set to unfold amidst the hospital's serious atmosphere.

As the orientation kicked off, each intern was prompted to introduce themselves. Arohi, taking the stage as the final participant, confidently seized the spotlight with a radiant expression.

"Good morning, esteemed colleagues! Thank you for patiently enduring the suspense of waiting for the last intern to speak. I'm Arohi. Now, you might be pondering, who is Arohi? Well, apart from proudly holding a degree that finally silenced my parents' habit of labeling me a 'professional student,' I'm here to infuse Birla Hospital with a touch of wit and charm. You might find me in the pediatric wing, armed with silly jokes and a treasure trove of stickers to brighten the days of our little patients. Because, really, who says the healing process can't be accompanied by laughter?"

Arohi concluded her introduction with a playful glance at Abhimanyu, stationed in a corner, visibly amused, while others marveled at her charismatic style.

"There are a total of 20 interns here, so congratulations to each of you. You will be divided among our five mentors—Dr. Abhimanyu, Dr. Abhinav, Dr. Vishal, Dr. Rohan, and Dr. Tarushee—with four under each mentor. To simplify the process, we'll be using a chit system. Each mentor will draw four chits one by one, and on the board where the mentors' names are already listed, they will write the names of the interns under their supervision whose chits they've selected," clarified Dr. Mahima, providing clarity to the organizational aspect of the orientation.

Following the chit-picking session, the five mentors convened to allocate interns to their respective mentorships. Abhimanyu, noticing with a mix of surprise and amusement that Arohi's name had landed in the hands of Dr. Abhinav, couldn't resist a mischievous move. He purposefully reached for Arohi's name, skillfully swapping it with one of his own chits, all while maintaining an unreadable expression.

Abhinav, catching on to Abhimanyu's subtle maneuver, responded with a teasing smile and a raised eyebrow, their camaraderie evident. The exchange escaped the notice of the other three mentors, who continued with the chit-selection process, oblivious to the playful exchange of names.

Abhimanyu, now sporting a slightly reddened complexion, realized he had unwittingly stepped into an amusing teasing game orchestrated by Abhinav, who seemed determined to make his day a bit more entertaining with continuous teasing sessions.

Arohi's prayer to the heavens had been acknowledged, yet destiny, in its whimsical dance, had another script written. In an ironic twist, it was Abhimanyu's mentorship under which she found her name at last. This unexpected turn of events momentarily transformed her initial smile into a subtle frown. However, Arohi, resilient and determined to pursue her dreams, resolved to bear the challenge of working under Abhimanyu's guidance.

Motivating herself, she gathered alongside three other interns – Dr. Vinayak, Dr. Tanya, and Dr. Ravi – ready to embark on this new chapter of her medical journey under the supervision of Dr. Abhimanyu. Despite the initial surprise and mixed emotions, Arohi was determined to make the most out of the mentorship, recognizing that challenges often held the key to growth and learning.

The day unfolded with Abhimanyu assigning duties and setting the tone for their work with a touch of motivation.

As the team delved into their tasks, Arohi couldn't help but notice the air of seriousness that hung around Abhimanyu.

During rounds, Arohi misinterpreted a piece of medical jargon, confidently recommending a "ticklish maneuver" instead of the correct term.

Abhimanyu, raising an eyebrow, couldn't help but chuckle at the mix-up. "I believe you meant the Tinel's maneuver, Dr. Arohi. Laughter therapy, now ticklish maneuvers—your ideas are certainly unique," he remarked with a playful glint in his eye.

Undeterred, Arohi shot back, "Well, a bit of humor can be the best medicine, Dr. Abhimanyu. Maybe we should add it to the treatment plan."

Abhimanyu, trying to maintain his serious demeanor, couldn't suppress a smile, "Dr. Arohi, we're here for medical treatment, not stand-up comedy shows."

Arohi, ever the persistent optimist, quipped, "Come on, Dr. Abhimanyu, laughter is the best medicine. Imagine the positive impact it could have on the patients!"

Their banter continued until Abhinav, walked into the scene, eyeing Abhimanyu teasingly. "Well, well, looks like Dr. Abhimanyu has finally found someone to challenge his serious side." Abhinav grinned.

Arohi, seizing the opportunity to involve Abhinav in their banter, turned to him with a mischievous smile, "Dr. Abhinav, do you agree with Dr. Abhimanyu that laughter has no place in medicine?"

Abhinav taken aback, soon found Arohi amusing and replied, "I agree with you Dr. Arohi, indeed laughter is the best medicine. Sometimes medicine fail to work but not happiness and contentment, unlike for this sadu Birla", Abhinav mumbled last part.

"I have heard Dr. Abhinav,", Abhimanyu stated eyeing him with poker face.

"My intent was for you to heard only, don't know why so serious since high school.", Abhinav shook his head and Arohi looked at the duo while Abhinav continued, "For the work I came I forgot because of you Dr. Abhimanyu", Abhinav taunted, " You forgot what today is of course."

Abhimanyu furrowed his brow and soon realization hit him that today is their sister's birthday, and she must be waiting for both of them with something to throw of course and a chill ran down both Abhimanyu and Abhinav's bodies.

(Note: Here Abhimanyu & Abhinav are brothers, twins)

"Abhinav, what about the gift?

Both widened their eyes and exchanged glances, while Arohi, standing there, observed the peculiar interaction between Abhimanyu and Abhinav. It was as if a silent conversation unfolded between them, leading to smiles forming on their lips. With their duties concluded, it was time to head home. Sporting sweet smiles, they both turned their gaze towards Arohi.

As they approached her, Arohi took a step back, sensing something unusual. The duo reached her and, with synchronized moves, held both of her hands.

"Please, please save us from the tsunami," Abhinav declared dramatically, while Abhimanyu, ignoring his theatrics, stated, "Dr. Arohi, we need your help in selecting a gift for our sister. Today is her birthday, and we completely forgot."

As Abhimanyu continued explaining, Abhinav added with a touch of horror, "Jann hi le lengi woh toh humari." (She'll take our lives if we forget.)

Arohi couldn't contain her laughter at the duo's dramatic plea. After a moment of amusement, they collectively decided that Abhimanyu and Arohi would take charge of purchasing the gifts. Meanwhile, Abhinav, armed with the assistance of a friend skilled in decorations, would set up the birthday venue to give their sister, Muskaan, a delightful surprise. The prospect of creating a memorable celebration for Muskaan added a new layer of excitement to the day, blending laughter, camaraderie, and the warmth of shared responsibilities.
