IRA POV:

It was really late when I woke up and went out. Everyone was done with their breakfast and went to work too . God I'm really not sure if last night was a dream or reality.
"Tum thik toh ho ? Maine bola hai time pe khana khaya karo abb pad gaye na bimar " Ma said as I entered the kitchen.
"Nhi Mai bilkul thik hu bs vo Rehan ne mera alarm band kar diya toh mujhe pata hi nahi chala time ka ." I explained the situation to her.
"Ha toh kya galat kar diya maine! kal mai 4 baje aya tha tab bhi padh rahi thi din bhar bhi bhot thak gayee thi . Kabhi kabhi sone mai kuch problem nhi hoti haina ma?" Rehan said . I glared at him for saying stupid things in front of her .
"Ha . Health jyada important hai beta . Tumhe paper ke liye thik bhi toh hona chahiye ." Ma said looking at me.
"Ha " I said . There's no point in saying anything against this .
"Toh hume kab nikalna hai ?" Raha said to Rehan.
As soon as she said it I left the kitchen I didn't want to lose my focus on my studies. Everything she does makes me question my insecurities.
I went back to the room and started cleaning up yesterdays mess . Rehan entered the room and sat on the bed looking at me .
"Kya hua ?" I said looking at him .
"Kuch nhi " he replied.
"Toh esse kyu dhek rahe hai " I asked again.
"Bs jane ka mann nhi hai ." He said and hugged me .
"Kyu " I wispered to him.
"Tum saath chalogi ?" He asked .
I didn't replied for a minute because I don't know what should I say . Like why would he ask me that isn't he happy there without me .
"Ira" he asked again.
"Aapko meri zaroorat nhi hai " I replied not looking at him .
"Mujhe tumhari zaroorat humesha rahegi "he looked at me and replied.
"Aapke pass Raha hai na vaha " I said resting my head on his shoulders .
"Raha ? Vo kaha se aagaye bich mai ?" He asked .
"Bich mai ? Bich mai toh shayad mai ayee hu ." I said finally letting it out .
"Aur ye tumse kisne kaha ?" He said .He was too calm for my concern.
"Kuch baatein bina bole bhi samjh jani chahiye " I replied.
"Ira tum mujh pe doubt kar rahi ho ? Tumhe lagta hai ki mai tumpe cheat kar raha hu ?" He said letting me go this time .
"Agar nhi kar rahe toh uss raat jab tum shower mai the to Raha vaha kya kar rahi thi? Vo bhi etne late ?" I asked.
"Raha mujhse bs milne ayee thi .Hum kabse plan bana rahe the but mujhe possible nhi ho raha tha . Esliye vo raat ko aagye . Hum bahot saal baad mile the toh time ka dhyaan nhi raha ." He replied looking quite angry.
"Toh function mai tum dono ne matching outfits kyu phene the ?" I asked another question.
"Kyuki hum dono ka blue colour favourite hai . Match jaan bhuj kr nhi kiya maine usske saath . Hum bachpan se saath hai humari saari taste almost same hai. Outfits ? Humara favourite food bhi ek hi hai . Toh kya mai pyaar karta hu usse ?" He said to me losing his calmness this time .
"Toh usse shaadi bhi ese wajah se karne vale the kyu ki tum dono exact same ho ?" I said .
"Shaadi ?" He looked confused.
"Di ne bola mujhe ki tum dono ki shaadi fix thi . Agar tum dono mai etna hi sab comman tha toh mujhse shaadi kyu ki " I asked .
"Humari families ko essa lagta tha ki hum shaadi karne vale hai Ira . Humne essa kabhi nhi bola . Infact Raha already relationship mai hai 3 saal se . Uss raat vo bhi tha humare saath milvane layee the mujhe . But mujhe nhi pata tha ki tumhe mujhpe etna bhi trust nhi hai . Agar kisi aur se affair hota toh tumse kyu shaadi hi karta mai Ira ." He said
I couldn't say anything to him . Maybe I did overthink everything.
" Mujhe laga tumhe time chahiye esliye tum mujhse etna dur ho mujhe nhi pata tha ki tum mujhpe etna bhi trust nhi karti Ira ." He said and left .
I sat on bed processing everything. He never did anything like that . Why did I think he was cheating? Was it his fault? No . It was my fault. I let my overthinking ruin our relationship. I didn't trust his words I trusted my thoughts over him . How could I do this to him ? He did everything to keep me safe . Why did I doubted him ?
" Yaar Ira yaha kya kar rahi ho ekele . Bahar chalo Nikhil ne icecream layee hai. Sab saath mai khate hai phir hum chale jayenge . Thoda time hume bhi dedo " Di said smiling.
"Sorry mai padhai aur sab mai kuch jyada hi busy ho gayee " I said
"Kaal raat ko neend huye ? Ya uthi nhi vo ?" I asked her as I didn't sleep with her last night .
"Nhi soo gayee thi . Aur tumhe soone diya ?" Di asked teasing me again.
"Di ." I said embarrassed with her question.
"Tum dono mai sab thik hai na ? Rehan kafi gusse mai lag raha tha abhi" she asked concerned.
"Vo ... Actually mujhe laga ki .. " I couldn't say it . I was too embarrassed to say it . He never did anything for me to doubt him .
"Ira jo bhi hoga sort it out before he left. Jitna jaldi ho sake solve karlo " she said.
"I'll try my best" I replied to her .
We went out and had icecream with everyone. Later Di left with Nikhil. They stay close so we can meet them anytime .
It was almost 4 so I went to kitchen to make tea for everyone. Raha entered too.
"Mai chai hi bana rahi thi . Tum logi ?" I asked her.
"Actually mai chai nhi peeti . I only drink coffee. Aur mujhe pata hai tum bhi coffee hi leti ho . So I'll make it for us " she replied and started making it.
"Tumhe kisne bola ?" I asked curiously.
"Rehan ne obviously. Phele mujhe laga tha ki he is just obsessed with you . Jab se mila hai bs Ira yeh Ira vo . Mujhe phele hi doubt tha ki he like you but mai jab bhi bolti thi he always used to avoid giving direct answers .But I was always sure " she started talking excitedly.
"Phele kab ?" I asked
"School mai . He always used to talk about you when we met. Jab tumhari shaadi ki baat chal rahi thi he was so angry ki esse kaise shaadi kar rahi hai vo . Kissi se bhi shaadi kyu kar rahi hai. Matlab maine etna gusse mai kabhi nhi dhekha usse ."She answer.
"Mujhe kabhi kuch bola hi nhi ussne " I said and thought about those memories.
"Rehan ko aadat nhi hai . Since he never dated anyone he is new to this too . He is as confused as you are ." She told me his side of the story that I never new .
"Tum dono chai bana rahi ho yah baatein" Ma said as she entered the kitchen.
"Bs hogya" I said and went to hall to give tea to everyone.
"Yeh lo ajj meri jaise coffee pee ke dhekho "Raha said giving the cup to me.
"Thankyou" I replied.
Everyone sat together and talked about yesterday things .
"Ma mai pack kr leta hu abb mai bhi nikalta hu . Aur waise meri chutti bhi khatam ho gayee hai toh abb next month hi aunga " Rehan said and went to the bedroom.
I followed him later .
