-I'd say probably about 2-3 months
-during this time, you two became really good friends and he would often 'flirt' with you in what seemed like a joking manner, which he used to try and hint to you that he likes you as more than just a good friend, but your oblivious self did not catch on to this so he had to build up the courage to say it to you directly
-there's no way two people who constantly flirt each other, even as a joke, can't mean any of what they say, right?
-didn't want to make it too sudden or rushed, so he allowed the two of you have a bit of an unobvious 'talking' stage before he mentioned anything about wanting to become 'a thing' with you
-one day you two were wandering about doing stupid stuff in your free time, when you joked that someone could mistake the two of you for a couple right now, and then proceeded to add on to your comment by saying you 'should totally should get together'
-hearing you say that gave him a boost of confidence and he was sure his heart skipped a beat hearing you say this, so he just blurted it out
''[name] I can't keep this up any more, you know I like you right?''
-you beamed at him from ear to ear, which slightly confused him because he wasn't sure whether you were going to burst out laughing at his sudden confession or what
''I know channie, I've been waiting for you to say because I couldn't build the confidence to say it myself'' you chuckled, intertwining your fingers with his without even looking at him

-5 to 6 months
-initially he was planning to keep it to himself forever (except for his members who somehow found out but he threatened if they told anyone ESPECIALLY you they wouldn't see the light of day again) and let the feelings pass, sticking to a few subtle actions as a hint that if you notice, you notice but if you don't, you don't. he didn't plan on telling you and he convinced himself it was going to pass
