-it's almost impossible to ever see chan lose his cool, the only other time he got anywhere near to getting physical with someone was when some dick tried hitting on you
-that's why it was so shocking to you when you finally saw him lose his temper, understandably
-when someone comes for his family and girlfriend, he comes for them
-you were just walking around and you stepped away for a moment to buy yourself a drink when he came across one of his old classmates, who had a bit too much to say about you and his family, which is when he completely lost it
-he didn't even bother to say anything back, he just swung at the guy with all the power in his arm he had
-usually, he is a relatively calm person and is mature enough not to get into fights with people, which means he doesn't have much experience in fighting in situations like these, which earned him a few scratches here and there. he didn't do half bad though, to be honest
-you walked out of the shop only to see your boyfriend and a random guy you've never seen before tackling each other to the ground with a group of people trying to separate them, you didn't hesitate to jump right in between the two to try and split them yourself
-the moment chan saw you try to get involved and split him up from the guy, he backed away himself and pulled you away because the last thing he wanted was for the guy to think stupidly enough to try and hit you too. even in a situation where he's evidently been hurt, he still cares about you first
-a million thoughts crossed your mind at once and you were definitely not thinking straight, you can't believe you just witnessed your calm, well-composed boyfriend lose his cool like that
''what the hell chan are you okay?!'' you questioned, voice cracking slightly from the concern
''yeah. yeah I'm okay.''
-soon the crowd scattered and it was just you and chan again, standing in silence. you looked at him with a worried face and went back inside the shop to buy an ice pack and some ointment
-without a single exchange of words, you led your boyfriend to sit down on a bench and took care of any grazes or injuries he had, before gesturing for him to get up, after which you went home in a quiet walk of shame
''...I'm sorry'' he finally broke the silence, voice filled with remorse
''there's nothing to be sorry for chan, I was just worried sick about you. what if that went even worse and you got badly hurt?!''
