In the quiet evening of eigth's eve, a gentle soul took flight,

A pillar of strength, a symbol of light.

With heavy hearts and tear-stained eyes,

We bid farewell as your spirit departed.

In the tapestry of memories, woven with care,

Grandpa, your love lingers in the air.

A patriarch wise, a guardian strong,

You taught us resilience, showed us where we belong.

Through the corridors of time, your laughter echoes,

A symphony of joy, a melody that grows.

You held the stories of an antiquated era,

Whispers of wisdom, a familial chimera.

Nana's brother, a dearest father-like figure in her life,

Mum's uncle, a bond so deep, many crafted memories within.

In our hearts, your love forever will be etched into our soul,

Through the wrinkles imprinted on your gentle face,

We find solace, love's everlasting embrace.

With calloused hands and a heart so kind,

You left an indelible mark on every mind.

In the tapestry of life, you wove love and grace,

A man of intellectuals and wisdom, in every embrace.

The twilight of your days, a poignant song,

Yet in our hearts, your spirit remains strong.

For in the stars, in the moonlit night,

Your presence glows, a comforting light.

Your passing was like a cloud filled with sorrow and grief,

A void that remained unfilled yet unpredictable.

You have done deeds morally and ethically,

Always had a smile on your face which I'll remember always.

You were the foremost father and parent to your sons,

Sadly in the contrary they became completely unalike.

One vowed to look after you and grandma except the other,

Who chose to avoid his duties as a son for his parents.

I felt deeply heartbroken that your expectations were turned,

Into miserable clashes between the only two brothers.

Whom you thought would live in tranquility within,

All your efforts were crushed like a pebble with no result.

You or grandma never deserved this kind of treatment,

From your children own who you both nurtured affectionately.

I sometimes wished that you had a daughter like my nana,

Maybe then you both wouldn't had to hear harsh words.

You were someone's father from birth by blood,

You were someone's husband by love and faith.

You were someone's uncle through siblings,

You were someone's grandfather through kids.

You were someone's brother from the same mother,

As tears fall like raindrops on sorrowed ground,

A garden of memories in your honor is found.

In the canvas of our lives, you painted with love,

An eternal masterpiece, a blessing from above.

So, farewell, dear Grandpa, in the great unknown,

May you find peace, a place to call your own.

In the tapestry of eternity, your story is told,

An epic of love, more precious than gold.

May your legacy and stories are told by generations to come,

Hope they remember you for who you were as a person.

For your teachings and acomplishments in this world,

You'll be held very dearly in our lives until the end.

In the embrace of the stars, in the solace of night,

His presence glimmers, an eternal light.

Though he journeys beyond the earthly shore,

  His love lives on, forevermore.

Though misery weighs heavy, and hearts may ache,

His love remains, a bond none can forsake.

For in the gentle whispers of the breeze,

His love abides, a timeless decree.

So let us cherish the moments we've shared,

In the mosaic of love, his spirit prepared.

For in the sphere where memories dance and sing,

His love will guide us through every hurdle.

In the tender embrace of each passing day,

His love illuminates the path, lighting the way.

Though he may have bid farewell to earthly sight,

His love remains, an eternal light.
