"Maniii wake upppp" my mom yelled.
"You dont wanna be late for your first day" She added.
I groaned as i got up after realizing what day it was.
I got up and went to go brush my teeth and take a shower.
I let the hot water run down my back as I prepared for the bullshit i was about to go through today.
After I was done i got out and started to look for some clothes.
I found a black colorful shirt and some bluish greyish jeans with some colorful lowtop 1's.

I didn't wanna be at school so i wasnt gonna do nothing spectacular.
I fixed my edges then grabbed my packback, purse, phone and jacket.
I walked in the living room and seen my mom fixing kenzie's hair.
It was her first day of 3rd grade.
My mom and kenzies mom we're sisters but Kenzie's mom was a addict.
I always wondered how my mom was a better mom to kenzie than she was to me.
But i didnt mind it cause kenzie needed that kinda love.
She was a sweet innocent little girl and she didn't deserve the shit she went through.
Im glad i came back cause she needed me and i needed her.
I always wanted to move out and take Kenzie with me.
Maybe when I graduate i can take her back to Memphis with me.
But who knows.
"You look pretty" Kenzie told me.
"Thank you kenzie you look pretty too" i said hugging her.
"Thank you and your welcome" she said smiling.
"Yall ready" my mom asked.
I nodded my head and grabbed my stuff and got into the car.
As we drove through the streets i listened to my music.
I prayed that school went smoothly with no problems.
We pulled up to kenzies school and i gave her a hug.
"Have a good day" i said before hugging her.
"Love you" she said.
"Love you too" i said.
My mom got out and walked her inside then when she was done she drove me to school too.
"Want me to walk you in" she asked.
"No im okay" i said.
"Have a good day" she said.
