I smiled as i sat in the passenger seat on the way to go get Domonique.
The doctor told us he was doing better and that we can take him home now.
"Girl you hella excited" lani said laughing in the backseat.
"Im so happy to see him" i said.
I havent seen Domonique since he had got shot.
I couldn't see him in the hospital like that.
"What yall gone do about yall house" Diamond asked.
"I dont know but i been looking for furniture but im not really in a rush" i said.
Diamond nodded her head and kept driving.
We made it to the hospital and we all got out the car.
I walked into the hospital lobby and seen the doctor pushing him down the hallway in a wheelchair.
I started to tear up.
I ran down the hallway and hugged him.
"I missed you" i said holding him.
"I missed you too" he said.
I let him go and started talking to his doctor.
"He has improved much but make sure he gets up to walk everyday, and he has to transition to crutches" the doctor said.
"And make sure he takes all his medicine" he added.
"Yes sir i will and thank you" i said.
He handed me his crutches and i walked up to the reception desk to sign him out.
"Have a nice day yall" the girl at the desk said.
"You too" i said.
We walked outside and i helped him into the car.
We all got in the car and drove to my dads house.
"Not tryna ruin the moment but how it felt to get shot" lani asked.
"Lani" me and diamond said in unison.
June laughed.
"I wanna know foreal" lani said.
"Shit hurted bad as fuck " He said.
"Maybe its time to let that street shit go" i said.
"Ion feel like arguing infront company" he said.
"Scuse you" Diamond said.
"Right" lani said.
I rolled my eyes.
I hated he was so deep in the streets.
I want him to change his life around so bad especially now that im pregnant.
I didnt want anything else happening to him or even me and the baby.
I wish he could see the shit in my point of view.
But he just thinks im nagging.
I hated that shit.
We finally pulled up to my house and the boys were outside shooting dice.
We got out the car and june was on his crutches.
"Lil muney" Nemo said.
"Doublebacc" june said.
He hopped over to where they were and hugged all them.
Sett was holding baby icelyn before i took her from him.
