I walk out and see Max and Tate sitting on a bench.
"I just came up 5k. Fuck Ramen, we eating T-Bones tonight." Max says.
I laugh and Max hugs me tightly.
"Dinner on me." Max says.
"You serious?" I ask.
"Mhm, all 3 of us." Max says.
"You down?" I ask, looking at Tate.
"Always down for free food." Tate says.
We laugh and she smiles.

"When are you flying out and going back to Canada?" I ask.
"I'm actually flying to LA, and I leave tomorrow tonight." Tate says.
"We gotta do something else before then." I say.
"What do you have in mind?" Tate asks.
"Well, I'm gonna stereotype and assume you like hockey. So I can take you to the Rangers game." I say.
"Really?!" Tate asks.
"Mhm, you gotta teach me though cause I don't watch Hockey." I say.

"You can come. I can buy us all tickets." I say.
"I can't even go. My teacher's making me redo my song because it's "inappropriate" I thought this was America! What happened to freedom of speech?" Max says.
"What was your song about?" Tate asks.
"He said he was gonna shoot Vance." I say.
"I was obviously capping, I am NOT a thug. I'm not even from that side of New York." He says.
