"So when do you go back to New York?" Tate asks.
"Tonight." I say.
"Tonight?!" Tate asks.
"I wasn't expecting this to go well so I picked the first flight over and the first flight back. Plus I've got a game in Rhode Island." I say.
Tate's phone dings and she picks it up.
"I'm getting lunch with a friend, you wanna come?" Tate asks.
"What friend?" I ask.
"Liv." Tate says.
"Liv?" I ask.
"Yeah, Olivia. Olivia Rodrigo." Tate says.
"I dunno who that is." I say.
"The driver's license girl." Tate says.
"I dunno her." I say.
"You really weren't lying when you said you only listen to movie soundtracks." She says.
I laugh and she smiles.
"You wanna go?" She asks.
"Sure." I say.
She nods and starts typing.
20 minutes later...
"It's nice to meet the infamous Y/n." Olivia says, shaking my hand.
"So you do talk about me." I say, looking at Tate.
"Talk? She won't shut up about you." Olivia says as Tate blushes.
We laugh and Tate rolls her eyes.
"So what am I looking at?" Olivia asks, as we sit down.
"What do you mean?" Tate asks.
"Am I looking at 2 best friends or a couple?" Olivia asks.
Tate looks at me and I nod.
"A couple." Tate says holding my hand.
