This caught most of the Smiling Critter's attention. "Wait.. you mean that Dogday, was human like us, but unlike the rest of us, he had a family?" asked Picky Piggy getting a nod from Miss Delight. "Wait.. you guys never had families.. or been adopted?" she asked in a hushed tone. "I.. well, we all didn't, we were all actually students of yours.." said Bubba looking at the ground. That realization was morbid for Miss Delight to think about. "Wait so... you all were the seven students who were.." she started and as she got towards the end of that sentence the Smiling Critters weren't smiling anymore, they all looked upset hanging their heads low as to not look at their beloved teacher. Miss Delight was speechless, putting her hand over her mouth she started to cry. "Oh my gosh.. I am so so sorry my students..." she whispered but the critters all heard it. "No, we are sorry... we never knew that this is what they were doing down there, and the fact they stole Dogday from his own family..." said Bubba as he wiped his tears, and held onto Craftycorn as she cried onto his shoulder. Catnap was in shock hearing this since he thought he knew Dogday for a while, and knew him the best, to know how best friend kept that big of a secret from him hurt. "Why, why wouldn't he just tell us that himself..?" he asked, but Miss Delight frowns and turns away. "He.. he probably didn't want me to tell any of you, he would probably feel bad knowing that you all never had a chance in finding a family like he did, but his family was forced to lose him at a young age, you guys can't tell him I told you anything, please" Miss Delight begged the critters and toys, they all nodded in understanding, but Catnap wasn't satisfied.
